Hey all, I am kind of new around the michigan section here. A bit of background about me, I recently graduated with my Associates Degree Nursing and got my license in New York. I work currently at PACU in DMC and just in the process of getting my license endorsed in the state. All of this doesn't pertain to my question, but it might so there it is.
I am looking for an RN to MSN program in hopes of moving onto a Nurse Practitioner at some point. Preferably one that moves me straight through...as opposed to having to get my BSN first and onto my MSN. I found one interesting program at Lourdes College: http://www.lourdes.edu/Nursing/MajorsandPrograms/RNtoMSN.aspx But not being from the area, I am not sure if this is a good idea or not. Also EMU and MSU both had programs to move toward my MSN, though I wasn't sure if either required BSN first. Any information would be infinitely valuable!

I hear that Davenport University has an online RN to BSN and then BSN to MSN.

I would definitely check Wayne State, as you are already working down there, it's an excellent school, and I know they have a program. As does Oakland University, so you might want to check that too! Good luck!
Oops, I not Davenport, University of Phoenix....
I just found about the Wayne State one and will probably be looking into something like that. Will probably be working down at DMC for a while...so sounds like a good bet. Thanks for the help!
