RN with no experience seeking advice

Hello, everyone. I'd like to ask for your help/inputs/suggestions. Before anything else, I'd like to share a bit about me just so you know my current situation. I am a foreign-educated nurse (BSN) and I recently passed the NCLEX. I'm currently licensed to practice in Oregon. I have no work experience (nursing-related) whatsoever.

Can anyone please advise me as to how I can land a job as a nurse in Oregon? What are the requirements that I should secure before applying or what institution would be welcoming to an unexperienced RN? I am not familiar because I am presently living in California. I'm not picky regarding the salary and location because I can relocate anywhere in Oregon. I just want to be able to practice my profession and gain experience. Please, any help and advice you can offer will be greatly appreciated.

P.S. I've checked Indeed for job openings but almost all require an experience.

A LOT of the smaller community hospitals in Oregon are desperate for nurses. Look at hospitals >1 hour outside Portland or Eugene.

Apply for nurse residencies in Oregon, their specifically for new graduate nurses with no experience.

Check out Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford. I've worked there for a year and a half on two different units and have loved my experience. We've been rated a Truven top 100 hospital 5 years in a row and won a designation for top cardiac hospital in the nation from CareChecks this year. The Rogue Valley is beautiful and has a lot to offer. We hire quite a few new grads!

Wherever you go, be persistent, and try to make face to face contact with a manager. Just putting in an application is almost never enough. A lot of hospitals outsource their recruitment and the recruiters are often terrible about following through and making the connection to actual hospital employees.

Good luck!

Are you still looking or available? I work for Muscular Dystrophy and we really need a nurse for our summer camp (1 week in July).
