I was wondering if anyone could recommend a BSN program preferably online. I am graduating from an ADN program on Thursday and would like to get into a BSN program as soon as possible but would like an distance learning/internet program so I can work also.

What state do you live in? I would recommend going to your state board of nursing website. There are probably links there to different programs in your state. I live in NC, and this is a link to the various RN-BSN programs in our state: http://www.ncbon.com/content.aspx?id=400 .
Of course, you could always apply to these schools as an out-of-state student, but tuition would be extremely higher than applying to a program in-state.

There are two I could recommend:
University of Southern Indiana and Indiana State University. Both are excellent and distance education oriented.

TWU has an RN-BSN program. I graduated in August and will be starting this program in January.

It depends on what you want out of it. I was under the impression that a BSN would make me a better nurse. I will graduate in may of 09 and my current GPA is 3.78 I have learned nothing. I haven't even needed to read one book. It is very easy. The only thing I fear is that if I choose to go on to by MSN I may be ill prepared:confused:. here's the link http://www.nova.edu/ Nova Southeastern University the main campus is in Ft. Lauderdale FL.

Definitely check out the public institutions in your state -- they will be a lot cheaper than the out-of-state or the for-profit institutions.
Also, ask about those that are non-online two. Several of the programs here in my state have limited face-to-face classes (one meets one Saturday a month, and two others will have classes at hospitals if there are 10 or more students enrolled at that institution.

I did mine through Chamberlain College of Nursing in St. Louis Missouri (online). I loved it and 3 of my friends who also did it enjoyed it as well. The classes are easy - but there's a lot of room for you to do your own research and develop papers based on YOUR interests. It's about 15,000 for the whole degree though - really enjoyed it though.
