Requesting for NCLEX result

Hi guys! I would really appreciate if you could help me with my concern regarding my nclex result.

I took the nclex in dec 2007 and got the result in jan 2008. I was hired in 2009 by a hospital in Seattle. I wasnt able to have my visa screened that time because I didnt pass the ielts exam and due to retrogression I decided to work in another country. I went home last year because my contract has ended. Just this year Ive learned that my employer was able to file my application and I do have a priotiy date which surprised me bcoz I dont have a visa screen. However, my file was abandoned because of retrogression so I was endorsed to another employer. They already paid for my visa screen but I have to complete the requirements to have a certificate. My concern is my nclex result because It said that after 3 years and I cant provide the ss# my file will be destoyed and it's over 3 years now. Does it means that I have to take the nclex again? Or do I have any options? Coz i dont want to take it again :,( Ive read several threads similar to this and some said that a request for a validation of registration should be sent to CA-BON together with a bank draft of 70$. Should I do that? Please help me guys...thank you in advance!

    Your file has been destroyed but results are still there. Suggest contact the BRN in regards verification of NCLEX results to CGFNS for VSC and you should be able to use the form in the CGFNS VSC handbook.

    Thank you so much for the comment and suggestions. My employer told me to wait for the status of vsc application and I dont need to send a personal letter to Ca-BON.

    VSC requires pass in either NCLEX or CGFNS exam. Results have to come from the governing body and you have to arrange for the results to be forwarded to them

    Oh is that so. But my employer told me to wait. I sent them a copy of my NSCBN letter indicating that I passed the exam. So the request for result should be coming from me?

    usually results should come from the state. Suggest you check with cgfns yourself however this is how I read the instructions on cgfns website for vsc

    [h=3]License / Registration / Diploma Information[/h]Validations of all licenses/registrations/diplomas are required. This includes:

    • Licenses/registrations/diplomas that are currently held, or have ever been held
    • Licenses/registrations/diplomas in all jurisdictions, foreign and domestic
    • Only licenses/registrations/diplomas for the profession that is being screened

    To submit this information:

    • Download the personalized “Request for Validation of License/Registration/Diploma” form from within CGFNS Connect
    • Deliver it to the appropriate source organization

    Yeah the result will be coming from the state of course but I am the one who should request for it For them to forward it to cgfns? Ok I will ask my employer again. Is it possible that cgfns will be the one who will send the request to BON that's why my employer asking me to wait for the change in my VSC application status.

    You have to make the request for vsc CGFNS usualy only ask when it is for CVS which is for New York only

    hi, what is that form?is that the Request for Validation of License/Registration?because online I can not register my nclex as part of my license since i do not own any registration/license number as what ca brn sent me in a letter, i took nclex in 2009 and i think my file is already destroyed
