Relocating to TN

Published

HelloTennessee Nurses,

Im relocating to around the Nashville area, from NH. My husband has a great oppurtunity. We have two small children, so we are looking for good school system, and me work.... I have been a nurse for 13years and currently work in the PACU. ANy thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I am in Nashville and would be happy to offer some suggestions. Feel free to private message me.

Vanderbilt and Centennial pay pretty good. Centennial is part of HCA, Vanderbilt is obviously the teaching facility. Pay can vary based on speciality, but with 13 yrs, expect around $27-29/hr.

Good Schools/areas are Brentwood and Franklin mostly. If you don't mind a 30min drive, Murfreesboro is a smaller town, with good schools in the Blackman district.

I have an interview tomorrow at centennial. I'm excited!

Centennial is a great hospital. Good Luck!! :)

Hi Tennessee Nurses,

I am also looking to relocate to the state of Tenn from Florida, but I am a new grad nurse. I have my Bachelors in Health Science and Associate degree in nursing with Florida RN license. I am in the process completing my BSN online and would love to live there for a couple of years. Any thoughts or suggestions of which hospital that I can apply to that may hire a new grad nurse who is willing to give 110 percent to the facility, staff, and more importantly, our patients. :nurse: Thank you!!!
