  1. Hi Tennessee Nurses, I am also looking to relocate to the state of Tenn from Florida, but I am a new grad nurse. I have my Bachelors in Health Science and Associate degree in nursing with Florida RN license. I am in the process completing my BSN online and would love to live there for a couple of years. Any thoughts or suggestions of which hospital that I can apply to that may hire a new grad nurse who is willing to give 110 percent to the facility, staff, and more importantly, our patients. Thank you!!!
  2. I am in the same boat too. I have been looking for a nursing position since April of this year and now we are in October and still nothing. I have filled out so many application from the Florida Panhandle to the Florida Keys and the only thing I end up getting always is "not hired" or "not selected" or "sorry, we have pursued other applicants" I have my Bachelors in health Science, and my associates in nursing and many years of working at a private medical office but to the hospitals it doesn't mean a thing. I even tried nursing home, medical/physician's offices, dialysis centers, jail/correctional facility but they all prefer 1-2 years experiences of acute care. Well, to get that acute care experience I need to work in the hospital. And how can I get in the hospital if I keep getting the rejection email. I even willing to try to work as a tech in the hospital, but of course I get the denial response for that too. I just wish I knew how I can beat the system and work my way into getting my foot in the door, even if its just for an interview. If someone out there have any other suggestion or know of a hospital hiring, please feel free to let me know.
  3. Hi Elprup, I am in the same boat as many other nurse graduate who cannot find a job. I am so eager and have the desire to work and put what I have learned throughout my nursing education years into practice. I even willing to volunteer or even apply as a tech. Anyhow, I do have license and have been applying to so many hospitals throughout the state of Florida, but I am having no luck. I like your idea very much about the "quick note". Will you also share with me what you wrote, Please.
