I'm legally here in the USA due to my student visa and since I just graduated nursing school with my ADN, I am qualified to work using my OPT which grants me to work full-time for one year.
I have interviewed with this hospital and I was offered employment. I didn't disclose the fact that I have only a year on my work permit during my interview but I did tell the HR when they called me after they offered me employment because I asked if they do sponsorship.
The HR's tone of voice after that didn't sound too thrilled but she still sent me a congratulatory email along with the paperwork that I have to do. It said that I'm starting orientation in a month after my physical and other things that I have to send. I'm just worried that she might withdraw the offer after I accepted it and I might go unemployed. And unemployment is big NO for me because if I get unemployed, I might get my OPT status withdrawn and I'm left without any status here in the USA.
So, my question is... After offering me employment, is it possible that they can withdraw it with the reason being that I have about 9 months left of my OPT?
