You will need to ask the college you plan to attend.

You have to have your BSN. But who knows with all the online programs out there now.

Quick answer: Depends on what you have and what you want to do. I have an ADN and am bridging into the MSN. I will not technically a have a BSN when I graduate.
For my school the requirements are as follows for graduate studies:
"All master's in nursing applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in nursing from a NLNAC/CCNE accredited program. Master's in nursing students must have completed prerequisite courses in statistics, research, and health assessment. Applicants for in the graduate nursing programs must present a valid unrestricted and unencumbered RN license issued in the state of residence. Upon admission, advanced practice seeking students are strongly encouraged to contact the State Board of Nursing in their state of residence to determine the requirements for certification as a nurse practitioner or advanced practice nurse in that jurisdiction."
I actually can't find information on my ADN-MSN bridge anymore, so it is possible my school is no longer offering it.

Depends on the program.
There are many schools that offer RN-MSN.

If they offer RN-MSN, you still complete the course for the BSN but you are not given the degree (that's my understanding)
I believe that's right. It's usually accelerated. You graduate with a Master's.
