does anybody double checked their answers after the nclex test? found some of their answers were wrong and still pass the test?

i maybe having severe anxiety right now but thats what i have been doing and i know it was wrong and the wait is so difficult. i found many of my answers were right but many were wrong as well. sigh... with 77-78 questions, iam having 50/50 chances of passing or failing, again!

altho, i am sure that 6 out of 8 medicine questions that i answerd were right. 1 with picture of a guy (new to me) you need to tell what he is doing or so, 4 with select all, 1 with a pop up table to view more patient data, who to see first, 2 who to phone first, 2 drug calculations, 1 delegation, 4 who to share beds with. drugs are tricky cuz it doesnt say what patient is it for to give you a hint! 6 questions on maternity nursing and 1 question that all the answers were right confused me what to choose...sigh...and 4 to 6 questions on psyche.etc etc

ps: hope i am not violating nclex rules. i am not sharing nclex exact questions. i am just citing the kinds of questions that i have encountered and every test takers will have a different kind/type of questions whether hard ones or easy ones.

NCLEX is hard as it is very individual. I walked out and couldn't remember any questions and to be honest didn't want to was just glad to get it out of the way.

Good luck

When I walked out of the test area, the lady took my last fingerprint and she asked me did u answer your last question right? I said, i dont know cuz i really cannot recall the last question! She said cuz if it is correct that means u passed! merry christmas!

I can recall the question before that but not the last! oh well, now wit my anxiety, I cannot recall any! sigh...it is mind bogling experience.

hey your comment about getting the last question right/wrong determines if u pass is BULL...i think i may hold the record for taking the NCLEX a lot of times...and i had all 265 every single time....i know of at least 3 of the 6 times (there i gave it away) i DEFINITELY had the last question correct and still failed....if the last question is not in the passing range, you're below the passing standard!! I'm still waiting on if i passed this time...I took it on Tuesday the 18th and am still waiting! Good luck to u though!

I believe you with that. It is the pearsonvue personnel who told me about it but then who knows, right? all we can do is be positive and never give up!

Keep in mind that the NCLEX is set up so that both passers and failers will answer ~50% of the questions right. That means that everyone will miss a significant amount.

The last question right/wrong myth has been around for a long time, but it is a myth.

The PearsonVUE employees at the site are not involved in scoring the exams. We frequently hear NCLEX myths that originate from these employees. Their intentions are good, but the NCSBN is the organization to consult regarding NCLEX structure and scoring procedures. Their NCLEX Candidate Bulletin is particularly helpful.

I know for sure that I got one question when I clicked next, I realized that I messed up really bad... the answers on the test are so so so strange... that what I picked at the time was the only thing that made sense out of the 4 choices... and then I thought to myself "no, I blew the test.. that was obviously wrong"

and my test stoped at 75..... and I for sure thought I failed.

as much as i reallly wanna recall the last question, i just couldnt. it has been completely erased by my tired brain lol...all I can remember now is the blue screen...sheesh:)

last question could be try out question too....so i think it not necessary to have last question right, thats what we were told in class...
