Hello just wondering what people think of 100-200 questions per day as a good study plan. I have read many post on studying and not sure if just answering questions is good enough. I have not really done the best, but I have not really done bad. Some questions seem easy while some seem foreign. I know that some we never talked about at school. I read all the rationales for the wrong answers and work on math calculations. I sure hope this is enough. The sponge is almost as full as it will get! Wish me luck. THANKS!

I was told that I should do 100 a day and that should be sufficient. I am working out of the Lacharity book now and use Saunders in addition to that.

Im doing at least that many per day (Saunders/LaCharity/NCLEX 4000) thank goodness we had to buy LaCharity for school! It helped my understanding in school and I'm hoping that base of knowledge will help! Fingers crossed!
I just realized thanks to the both of you, that I also have that book, I guess I bought it for class, but we must not have used it or I didn't anyways! Good luck to you also!

100 a day is good. 200 may be too much considering you have to read all of the rationales.

Hi I'm doing 300 a day from Ann Hogan, Lippincott q&a, La Charity and Saunders and Med-Surg q&a! For 1-St try I use Saunders CD and book and Kaplan didn't pass with 75,then I did NCSBN 3 weeks, Exam cram and 9 practice q from La Charity again 265 didn't pass but all result was near the passing level, so this time I change the way so 300 a day and took more hard q-ns! I hope this time I will pass, otherwise there is nothing else I left for review loool , God bless everybody! Pray pray pray )))

That was my main strategy for preparing for the NCLEX and I passed with 75 questions and in 30 minutes. I felt I was very well prepared, but I also researched each question I missed and would even read further into it. Seriously, 100 questions if done right, should take a couple of hours to review. Sometimes more, sometimes less.
Do doubt I will ))) good luck !!!

I would recommend reading the rationales for the questions you get correct as well and making flash cards for your lab values and therapeutic drug ranges for the popular drugs. Other than that your plan sounds great. Good luck! I know what you mean about our sponge being full!!!!
I am taking the monster next Thursday! I am getting really worked up! I have stuck to my 100-200 questions per day. I sure hope that this is the correct study habit for me! I have never been a great test taker, but I guess if I can get past this one than I have conquered a lot!!!! I hope everybody else is getting the studying done that they need and finding the time to do it!! Best of Luck!
