How soon before NCLEX do you apply for a job?
Unless you have someone who could help you get a job, I would wait... All applications ask for your license number.

Cant seem to find work!
So here I am I graduated in March of this year and I passed my NCLEX PN last month... I still can't seem to find employment. All I keep hearing is that I need one year of experience and I'm wondering where am I supposed to get the experience from if no one wants to hire me. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated...

Advice
Nursing isn't only about wiping butts... You may have to do a lot of that in the beginning but Nurses do WAY more than just wipe butts

First job after passing NCLEX-PN HHA
That's true too. Guess it really does depend on who you know rather than what you know

Not satisfied with Kaplan
Have you tried using the Saunders book? Do tons of questions daily and you will gain the test taking strategies you need from reading the rationales.

How to deal with unsupportive people.
Before I started the LPN program a few of my family members doubted me...... Didn't think I could make it, and it gave me more motivation to graduate, pass my boards and get a job... Use the negative energy as a motivator to prove her wrong...

First job after passing NCLEX-PN HHA
Congrats on getting the job! I'm sure as long as your background clears out you're hired. They had me flll out all the new hire paperwork today at the home health agency. And afterwards told me to go get the background check done. Get the experience you can while working at the jail and when you hit 6 months at least try applying to other places. Good luck :)

First job after passing NCLEX-PN HHA
Hey guys! Good news, I passed my boards May 22nd 2012 and I was offered a job today at a Home Health Agency $17/hr It seems as though hospitals, nursing homes and clinics only want to hire LPNs with at least one year of experience, not including clinical experience. Did anyone else run into this problem? Don't get me wrong I'm grateful for a job especially these days...

How I passed NCLEX-PN
Heyy... I did only Saunders 3rd edition. It was the old one but it was still effective for me. I started out with a few books EXAM CRAM and Saunders. I decided to stick to one source throughout the entire time of studying and it helped a lot!

I don't think being a CNA is right for me.
I went to school for CNA. Completed the course, didn't bother to get the certification. Went straight for LPN. I feel your pain.

100-200 questions per day
100 a day is good. 200 may be too much considering you have to read all of the rationales.
