For my physiology class I need to give a term for when the pulse and heart rate do not match, any ideas of what that could be?

You should still have an apical pulse in AV nodal blocks that matches heart rate unless the patient is in PEA.

In psych we might call that condition "myocardial cognitive dissonance".
