I live near Memphis,TN and really want to begin nursing school. I am having a really hard time finding a school that has a night or weekend nursing program. I work full time and can not take a cut in pay. I am willing to put in the hard work and time it would take to do this at night but do not know if any schools have night programs. Please help, has anyone done this program at night??

I don't know of any like that except for in Nashville at TSU.
Can't you go to school during the week and work the weekends?
How about becoming a CNA and working 24 hours and getting paid for 36 or sometimes 40?
After the first semester you can become a nurse extern starting at about $15 an hour.
I live in Memphis and go to a school there as well.
PM me with any questions.
I am working 40 hrs a week now at $17 an hour. I could maybe take a small cut in pay but not much. I have looked at some of the community college 2 year programs but they are totally a day program. Would love to be about to finish in 2 years. I guess I cant have it all though.

You might check out the community college schedules any way. Students do not necessarily meet 5 days / week every day.
In our program, students are in class Monday & Wednesday letcture (2 hrs each) and either Tue/ Wed or Thurs / Frid Clinic.
Some students continue to work on their school off days. However, be aware that students who work more than 20 hours / week are at higher risk for not being successful.

I think Southwest Community College in Memphis has a night and weekend program. You probably should give them a call.
