May 23, 200818 yr The traditional option includes 4 semesters of clinical coursework and the part-time evening option includes 8 semesters of clinical coursework. How many years does this translate too? Its for the RN program and is 72 credits. I dont think this includes clinical. Thanks!
May 23, 200818 yr Depends on how long your schools semesters are and if there is a summer semester. 2 semesters is 1 year, 4 semesters is 2 years
May 24, 200818 yr Notice that they say "clinical coursework". I would check to see what, if any, prerequisites are required *before* they allow you to start your clinical coursework. That can add significant time to your educational career. Otherwise, 4 semesters is usually 2 years, unless they allow you to do any of your main courses during the summer.
Jun 17, 200818 yr Author I wonder how long the clinical part is tradionally? Im going to attend an information session in a month. Just wondering about the length of clinical.

I've been doing pre-req's since 2004 (but in that time I also had a baby and lightened my schedule), but I just finished my first semester of Clinicals. I know some schools do the classes back to back, but ours, we get summers off and some time around Christmas, so that adds time onto ours.
