Question about Generic course selection program for Army Reserve

Hi fellow nurses:

Does anyone know if the Army Reserves offer the generic course selection program in your contact like active duty does? Or do you have join then request to attend the school once your in (which is subject to unit funding, mission, and whims)?

Also, I'm particularly interested in 66C Psychiatric Nurse Course. Also has anyone every attended this course. I read the description but would like to know more about what does it exactly teach in terms of academics and clinical experience.

Thanks for your help

for ac one can request to attend but it will cost the officer an additional one year adso (active duty service obligation)

good luck!

.... this year of adso can be served concurrently though ;)
