Hi,
i am unemployed and about to enter into a full time nursing program at a community college that deems my program a statewide manpower need program due to lack of nurses. I also currently get food stamps and was wondering if I will lose them if I am an unemployed full time student. I've applied for work study programs but haven't heard anything back yet. Any help or word of wisdom would be appreciated. I have to call the food stamp office this week and I'm worried. I live and will be going to school in Maryland.
Thanks!

Your best bet is to contact your assistance office here you live, since assurance varies by state and region.
Best of luck to your and your future endeavors!

Some states will cut your assistance some if you are full time. They will not take it completely, I do not think.
