Oct 24, 201114 yr @lookitsladyI've been also wondering the same thing since I am also a volunteer nurse but they told me that volunteer work is just okay. I am not sure about the hongkong thing, but from what I've read, it depends if they are going to invite you for an interview or not.
Oct 24, 201114 yr They will tell you what you want to know at the end of the day if you are caught and it is illegal for you to be doing it then you are looking at deportation and a ban that could be from a few years to lifeIf any doubts check with a immigration lawyer that has experience in this area

Nov 4, 201114 yr Almost everyone gets interviewed in Hong Kong (if you're from the Philippines). You'd only be exempted from the interview if you've proven that you're fluent in french and have submitted proof of your language proficiency. I've been interviewed in Hong Kong and have seen other Filipinos also invited for the interview. Good luck!
Nov 14, 201114 yr Yes they did ask me some questions in french to test your level of comprehension and ability to speak the language. If you're applying as a QSW you'll probably be invited for an interview in Hong Kong. I already have my CSQ and I'm now just waiting for my visa.
Nov 15, 201114 yr It depends really. There are no fixed timelines for this but it can go as fast as four months. I've got mine after around nine months.

Dec 5, 201114 yr They didn't ask for my payslip(s) but they will ask you if you have the documents that will serve as proof to your work experience. I brought a copy of my contract and some recommendation letters from my employers. I also had my income tax records so you should bring it to your interview. I haven't submitted my OIIQ application just yet until I receive my visa but once I do I'll send them the required documents to start the registration.

Dec 5, 201114 yr ^ I think that's a little bit off topic but they'll mostly ask you about Quebec culture and your plans on how to migrate to Quebec. From there they'll gauge whether you'll be a good candidate as a resident in Quebec.Good luck!
