hi! are you from the phil? may i ask which agency are you from? my 2nd pack was also sent dec 23. I recently called nmc and the operator told me that since it was sent 23rd of dec, it will be received on jan 19 which is 4 days after the deadline for the old scheme. Do you have any news regarding yours? Thanks.

Hi! I am a Registered nurse from the Philippines and I am currently under the old scheme of the NMC. I have questions regarding the 2nd pack. 1) I had a relevant experience for the position nurse trainee and I was wondering if I should include this as an Employment experience since as a trainee we are not under the human resource but the nursing service office/training division or should I put it in the "gaps in employment" category. 2) Does the NMC require evidences of the gaps in employment? 3) I am not sure how strict the NMC is but is it okay to use different pens in filling up the form as long as it is still black? I had started filling the application pack but I decided halfway to use an erasable pen instead so that there will be no errors. Responses are highly appreciated. Thank you

Hi everyone! I am a registered nurse in the Philippines and I was wondering if my qualifications meet the new requirements: An 11-month experience as Nurse trainee/Volunteer Nurse in various fields of Nursing in different hospitals; and more than a year as a paid Staff nurse. I am in doubt because other agencies for New zealand requires 2 years paid experience while others say it's okay if it's unpaid. I had read the NCNZ and it says: Two years post-registration nursing practice as a registered nurse of at least 2,500 hours within the five years immediately preceding the date of the application --however, it wasn't specified if it is paid or unpaid experience. Can someone please clarify regarding the matter? Thank you!

@lookitslady I've been also wondering the same thing since I am also a volunteer nurse but they told me that volunteer work is just okay. I am not sure about the hongkong thing, but from what I've read, it depends if they are going to invite you for an interview or not.

@ Charmzele I'm about to apply in Enhance, probably this week. I think I will go with the QSW since it's easier to be an immigrant through this program rather than the QNP, it will take a lot of years. By the way, regarding the TEFAQ, do you know the schedule of exams for next year in Cebu? Since I'm not from there..Thanks. @ agnes_blush27 If you're option is the QSW, you will need the French test, TEFAQ, which comprises the speaking and listening tests. However, if you opted for the QNP, the French exam after you took the board exam in Quebec is similar with the ielts with reading, speaking, writing, and listening (based from what I've read in other forums and here as well).

@ charmzelle I would like to ask if what agency/consultancy did you apply? I've heard from Enhance, that there is no need for the applicants to go to hongkong. I'm also in a dilemma because I'm both qualified in both QSW and QNP, I prefer the QNP but they told me that QSW is a better option. I wanted the QNP simply because I can work there as a nurse and not some other jobs.

I just want to ask if you are already in the CPN status, do you have to wait for mos or years before taking the board exam? And also is somebody been in this thread already in Quebec in this program? kindly share some experiences. Thanks..^^
