I took the nclex on 6/2 and still haven't receive my result, so I gave in and tried the pvt. I got the "good" pop up after trying to reregister (yes, I hit submit after inputting my cc info). Is this a good indication I passed? Thank you 0 Likes

I'd rely on that more than the PVT, though the good popup does tend to be a good indication of passing. If I was still waiting 18 days out I'd be on the phone to the BON yesterday to find out why! 0 Likes

I live in a state that doesnt participate in QR- california. Ive already checked the BON site to see if my license has posted already, nothing. The brn personnel informed me to wait an additional 3 weeks for them to process my file :/ so resorting to trying the pvt today was my only option after waiting over 2 weeks. I'm hoping the pvt is true! 0 Likes
RNsRWe, ASN, RN Jun 21, 2015 The PVT isn't "true", it isn't "false", and it isn't "accurate". It is a glitch of the registration system in that MOST of the time if you pass the exam you will be unable to create a duplicate registration (which is what you are attempting to do).SOME of the time, and increasing in frequency, it DOES allow a person to submit payment (create another registration) even though he DID pass.IOW, you might have passed. Maybe. Probably. Or you might have failed. The more you attempt registration, the greater the likelihood that at some point PV WILL accept your payment. In that case, regardless of your passing status...you will be out the money. Or if you used a fake card/expiration date, you will be just as uncertain of your pass/fail status as you are now.Hang in there. Breathe. Do something else for awhile, and wait for official results. Good luck! 0 Likes

AlwaysLearning247, BSN Has 6 years experience. Jun 21, 2015 How is the result from the NCLEX exam sent to the Board of Registered NursingPearson Vue will have to notify your board of nursing. I tested in MA, I paid for quick results and found out I passed 2 days after NCLEX on the Pearson Vue website. My license was posted on the MA license verification page on Friday (I took it that Monday). I hope that helps. 0 Likes

Stick around these boards. It most DEFINITELY has happened...and over the last few months more than ever before.Glad it worked for you and your friends. For those who it has NOT worked for, I doubt they'd appreciate anyone encouraging the PVT. 0 Likes

They do not have Quick Results, and their licensing process is much longer than MA. 0 Likes

For those who it has NOT worked for, I doubt they'd appreciate anyone encouraging the PVT.I have been reading forums and blogs for many years about the PVT and I have yet to see someone get the "good popup" and end up failing. Yes this is my experience and I am allowed to share that with the OP, thanks for your concern. Please do send the link my way, where someone received the good popup to fail. I don't recall encouraging the OP to do the PVT either, as the OP already stated that they got the good popup before I even replied. 0 Likes

king2020 Jun 24, 2015 Thank you! I've been reading blogs and have not yet came across anyone that has gotten a "good" pop up and failed, though I've read numerous blogs about people getting the "bad" pop up and ended up passing. I will update you guys once my result gets posted. 0 Likes

RNsRWe, ASN, RN Jun 24, 2015 You want me to send you a link? I need to prove this to you in order for it to be the truth? I'm sorry, but I don't keep a link from every comment of every post I've ever read.I have no reason to lie to you on this topic, but I suppose you can choose to disbelieve if you wish. One such story does come to mind however, it was from someone who got the so-called good pop up, and because everyone said it was so very accurate, he or she told everyone the good news. He or she also accepted a job offer. And then found out that he or she had actually failed the test, had to tell the employer that no, he /she couldn't take the job after all, and tell everyone who told him that the PVT is 100% accurate was dead wrong. That sad story happened to be on this very forum if you care to do the search for it. I don't. I remember the anguish that person went through, because "everybody" said the PVT always works. So, I guess my motivation is simply to spare someone else that grief...but hey, it's not needed, I probably shouldn't care. 0 Likes

RNsRWe, ASN, RN Jun 24, 2015 BECAUSE, don't you know it's 99.99% accurate? And I find people do a lot of dumb things when they have been stressed for a long time.At one time *I* had a lot of faith in it. But recently? It's a foolish game. Nothing more. 0 Likes
