I applied for Maryland and Virginia so yes, I believe that is mid Atlantic. and if they hire me, how did you pass the pbds?? do you have any tips?? thank you I’m advance!

  5. Hi there! Did you get the job?? I applied to 2 of the nurse advise positions at Kaiser but still have not received any response. Is there a recruiter I can contact for the position? If you got the job, how is it going?? How long did they take to get back to you?? How many years of experience do you have??
  6. Hi forum. This question is for nurses that deal a lot with COVID patients so I'm thinking ICU nurses. Have you experienced vaccinated patients dying due to COVID complications???
  7. Hello! Thank you for taking the time to read this and thank you in advance for your advice. I have been working on a busy floor (clinical decision unit/observational/tele-unit) for about 4 months now. As a new grad, orientation was 3 months. I always wanted to work with neonates after graduating and applied to those positions but they wanted experience. I decided to apply to other position with adults cus I needed to work and landed the position I'm in right now with the hopes of transferring to the special care nursery floor later on. Working on the tele floor is going OK; it is a lot of work but I'm doing OK. My manager is great; always checking up on me and all. I was wondering if it is bad to email the manager at the special care unit to see if I can shadow a nurse in order to get an Idea of what it is like to work there so I can see if it is the place for me in the future. I am not sure if my current manager will know about this or if it looks bad that I'm just shadowing/following a nurse around to see what they do there. My hospital policy says we can transfer after 6 months but other nurses have transferred to other units after like 1 or 2 months but they did that for adults floor(like from IMC to observational floor). The special care nursery won't even allow transfer to their floor until nurses have 1 year of hospital experience. I just want to see what it is like to work there and I want to do it now because I'm scared that they will be more restrictive in allowing people to shadow due to COVID. Does this look shady? have you guys ever done that? and is there a way that my current manager will find out about it? Thank you.
  8. hahaha it's BeaCause there is something wrong with my Computer. It randomly Capitalizes Certain letter; I don't know why

I want to work at FreDeriCk memorial hospital iF you all are Familiar with that But they only have a NICU level 3 whiCh is more sCarier. 13. Hello Nurses!! I am hopefully a "soon-to-be NICU nurse" (I'm still in nursing school). I wanted to ask NICU nurses or anyone that has floated in that unit about their experiences (what you hate/love about NICU, would you choose a different unit if you had to do it all over again, how would you rate your stress level for this job (1-10), what is a day in the life of a NICU nurse, and if any nurse has ever made a mistake while providing care for the little ones). I'm really scared about messing up, I really want to be the best nurse. In addition to that, has any NICU nurse ever worked in an outpatient setting (like doctor's offices, follow-up NICU clinics, or programs??) I know most work in hospitals and although I don't really love the hospital setting, I'm still willing to work there. Thank you so much in advance for all your answers!!!
