I too, am Canadian. I plan to spend a year working in James Bay but will be moving to NC next year. Keep me posted on what you find out. My children are grown up..I haven't got a partner either, so would like to find out where to live as well.

I am looking to work in the States. I see you were talking about oregon..where in oregon and can you suggest a good place...do you know anything about Portland Oregon hospitals. Also, the salary you listed seems to be higher than most areas. Is the cost of living high there?
