  3. you are not a doctor next time tell a doctor before what meds you dec8de to give id be a bit annoyed if i was instead of him even if it wont do harm
  4. i for sure am aware that some are not comforting nor caring as some only chose that career for the pay only
  5. i used to work in healthcare but not as a nurse and from my observations and well even as a personal decision it was something id never become.helping ppl can seem nice on paper but in reality is far more different..its something which should be inside you not something you choose to be
  6. as a male nursing is the last role id be interested in...i dont want to deal with female cliques ever besides i view it as a feminine.role too
  7. Hi i tjink i will stick to it for now as extra money is always nice ill try to make more sacrifice
  8. im part time clerical shall i quit it? its only a side job..and there's a heavy toxic culture and superrr busy
  9. smell of poop as thats what all hospitals smells of
  10. HOW DO I CLOSE THIS THREAD it keeps sending me emails and im over it
  11. NO I CANT FORCE PPL BUT REALLY SWEET TO INVITE ALL STAFF AND ME NOT BYE
  12. its a different world from bedside pros: fixed schedule and hours mom to fri or sat mornings id say you wont stay a lot on your feet the cons less pay than bedside complaints and demanding patients which can take its a toll depending on how much patients will be seen lots of paperwork too i was an ex employee at an outpatients clinic
  13. im not sure about public health but i hate outpatients way too busy demanding patients to be seen on time
  14. i do see one but ioth weeks apart as i cant afford but i hope she helps me
  15. I just dnt know what to do part of me says as u said just be strong and ignore them but the other part tells me you shall just move on its only parttime and my money is low..no way i would survive on part time only... i need to analyse things is it worth all the stress? am i overreacting? jobs are hard to come especially parttime jobs so it wont be easy
  16. Yes but tell me ,our lives revolve around jobs how cant i not do that? a bit unrealistic
  17. Hi again im posting a new thread Im building anger over some issues that is happening on my parttime at hospital Basically i keep hearing rumors that they talk about me behind my back...i never know who as they never tell but infront of me they never tell me anything this been happening for months and it makes my blood boil.why cant they tell me face to face?? Im a receptionist btw and the rumors are coming from nurses/managers it seems.. Also the fulltimer gives1 me huge ammount of workload and she also just directly report me over small mistakes which is making me avoid her like plague i dont do much m8stakes but even if its small one instead of telling me to fix it she str8 up tells manager..(as if shes accusing me of doing it volonturaliy) she phones a lot to request new things on my days and time off. She is always invited everywhere by the nurses while Not even once was i invited by no one. in tired of their toxic culture i have enough to deal myself SHALL I QUIT?? I do my best i give my all yet they get mad..whenever im sick or on vacation leave ..no matter what i do .. i will discuss all this with a professional as i cant take it anymore PS i know no one likes me..i have a long history of being bullied since teen and it never goes away even when i grow up ... I STILL try my best to do a good job but i will give in this time i think and just let go
  18. Easy... Everyone gets sick and you shall never feel guilty... Health is more important than everything and if they try to make you feel guilty then it's their problem. Vacation leave are also our right and you should never feel guilty . And also taking breaks will make u a better employee as your mind will be refreshed something which is extremely important and to avoid burning out.
  19. Thanks for all the feedback that i recieved from here and in no way i wanted to offend anyone personal The negative always feel bigger than the positive for me..so yes maybe i shall just let go of those events or workers who ruin it all.I camt expect everyone to be friendly to be nice. Those people whom only care about money exist in every profession but itll be nice if everyone was nice to each. Also i shall add im a parttimer and have no interest in going fulltime there for whatever role. Healthcare is something which really interest me but i will never fit in this hospital and In my country there are very little hospitals. The experience i had from my job is very big.I grew up more confident and i learned a lot. I dont wish to completely quit it because i dont want to let go of everything i learned but i found parttime just work fine for me there ? I do admit im overworked where i am which was confirmed by nurses and by other workers and i dont have breaks voluntarily because i want to make sure i help in everyway. I tried deleting my old posts as some had quoted here as they are no longer valid but i cant delete them ?
  20. thats very true i learned to avoid those clinics with rude stuff ?
  21. ahh cool although not a place id personally choose..it creep me out lol but i bet its rlly quiet
  22. Its a ward with constant admissions and always above 20patients and some deaths too..so its very active busy place i dont get bored just curios about wards who are queit although of course those are hardest to get lol i would love to work at a psych unit as its something which rlly interest me but i dont get to choose lol we just work where its available.
