I know I'm upset over it but I guess you learn that info from the book to pass. And yes they should utilize email!

Does your campus offer the 3 day drug dosage calculation classes? Yes I have a letter that plans out everything up until the first week of school, but I also had a statement saying there would be more info on what background checks and immunizations I need but that was also in that online packet I linked. I'm assuming they will send more details out but it is really frustrating with no email communication. I'm disappointed that my site doesn't offer labor and delivery or psych clinical rotations...so I'm not completely blessed

you should have gotten a letter stating orientation dates with your acceptance letter but then again maybe it does depend on campus

Do you mean an overall score? I don't think the letter says that anywhere. Also when did you apply because to accept seats is due tomorrow for the people who applied before March

I work as a nursing assistant in passavant and a psych tech at an agency prn in trying to move casual at the hospital. I'm planning to work full time still because I only have the nursing classes and my second job is super easy. I'm also taking a loan out for living expenses just in case I have to cut back hours

I'd love some input
I think program B as well because it's in person giving you that exposure and honestly you wouldn't have to do the EMT with all the exposure but if you still wanted to do EMT then it leaves it open. The NCLEX pass rates may be on the lower side but that doesn't mean you can't pass it! About your GPA maybe you could take an extra class to bring it up higher even though that 3.5 is still pretty competitive. Above anything, you said it was your dream school so that should be indication enough!

So you can pick your schedule out of a group of options? Do you know what Tuesday and Thursday's weekend clinicals are? Would I be allowed to pick the wednesday with Saturday eve clinical myself or do they pick whats for you based on leftovers from the "lottery" lol

I haven't yet either but I'm hopefully for next week! BTW does anyone know what the evening/weekend hours are like? I may need to work Thurs/Friday 1-11 and Sunday/Monday 7-3 or Sunday/Monday 3-11 and Thurs/Fri/Sat 7-3, this is my second job and it is an EASY psych outpatient home that I basically get paid to do my homework at. I'm also trying to move my first job from fulltime to casual at my hospital so I have a lot of wiggle room for houurs but I don't know what the weekend hours are for the program other than it says available from 6-5 but what specifically and for both days?

I'm losing hope....
I can see more clearly now you aren't just worried about getting into nursing school, you're not sure if you even want to do this. Saying business, the career you want is only second to nursing because your parents want you to do that is going to make your life miserable. Please think about this, it's your life not your parents and you'll have to express this to them. I don't know and I'm not sure if you even know how much you "want" to be a nurse but it sounds like you're trying to settle and not pursue what you want. This career is too difficult to try to pursue without true motivation. im sorry if I was rough but you could be wasting even more money and time doing something you will regret!

Do you get Study Guides before midterms and finals ? my teacher doesnt believe in that 😫
Do you receive outlines? You could make that into a study guide. If not outline your notes or key points in your book. I had an accelerated biology class where my professor didn't do outlines or study guides just powerpoints so I read the chapters and used the powerpoints to fill in/summerize and Id outline that way. Sounds tedious but I learned biology almost completely throughly that way, not just for tests either lol

Also CNA is not a degree it's a license or sometimes only a title, like me for example my hospital trained me to be a Nursing Assistant but I don't have a certificate. Anyway, does your community college have an associates degree in nursing? You might have to go one more year after your senior year(they are 2 year programs usually) to finish it since you're a junior now, but you could bridge to a BSN or skip the BSN and bridge RN-MSN, I already have a Bachelors so that's my plan and I'd still be able to work at he BSN level if I wanted to with an MSN

So what others classs have you taken for the pre reqs other than those 3 science classes and what are their grades? Did the school that reject you explain why they did? Your GPA is substainally high however that C in anatomy may be what's hurting you. I know it's passing but in nursing school they few the pre reqs as "if you get a C in a pre req you'll likely get a D in a nursing course" because it's all buildings ontop of old material. I think your parents are influencing you too much, do you really want to be a nurse for you or them? Business is also a good career but is that a second choice or actually a first choice? You didn't waste time in CC, all education is valuable!
