CCSF 2021
Gotcha, thanks! Also, if a school can only do electronic transcripts right now, who do you send them over to? Sorry so many questions!

CCSF 2021
Hi, will all of our official transcripts need to be mailed together in a manila envelope? Or mailed separately by the transcipt company? Please confirm :) Thank you!!

CSU Stanislaus ASBSN 2018
Nice stats! My overall GPA so far should be above 3.30 if all goes well with my science courses. I have a BS in Health Education and a Master's in Health Care Administration. Non-science GPA is 3.55 due to mistakes in undergrad as well. I am aiming for a high score on the TEAS. Any tips for that? For healthcare experience, I'm currently enrolled in a CNA course & plan to work as one to gain experience. UCSF is a great school! My friend is currently in the program and it looks like she is enjoying it. In addition, I plan to apply to CSU East Bay, MJC, Delta College, and UC Davis MEPN program :)

CSU Stanislaus ASBSN 2018
Hi Abigail! My name is Samantha and I have been trying to get more insight about this program. Unfortunately, I am not applying to Cohort 7, but I am looking to apply to Cohort 8 since I still need to finish a few more classes. If you don't mind me asking, what are your stats & teas score? I want to get an idea of where I stand in order to determine what other schools I should consider applying to. Are you applying to any other schools? Good luck on your app!! :)

Starting Over at 25
25 was a difficult year for me. So much stressful events happened & I was in the middle of completing a Master's program. I eventually completed it, but finding a job in that field was hard without experience. At 26, I finally decided I wanted to pursue nursing. I took my first pre-req which was Chem. Now at 27, I am (almost) half way through my pre-reqs. I also get discouraged from time to time to think that I will be 30+ years old once I get my career going, but the saying goes, "30s are the new 20s!". Thanks to this forum, it makes me feel like I am never struggling alone. We're all in this together. #Blessed

Summer 2017 Chat
Hello all, this summer I am taking Stats and Psychology. It has been a roller coaster ride these past few weeks. My fiancé and I recently got our own place & moved in, I also started a new full-time job, and summer classes started as well, ALL AT THE SAME TIME. I am so overwhelmed. I'm wondering how are you all juggling work while taking classes?

YAASSS. I totally feel you... I got a B in Chem because I bombed the OChem exam. I was devastated. Not getting an A bumps my points down making me less competitive and a lesser chance at getting into my number 1 choice program.

Semi Career Change - Please help!
Hello! I am literally in the same predicament as you! I too have a graduate degree in Health Care Administration and was not able to find jobs within that field that interested me. I settled for corporation or medical offices jobs that did not fulfill my passion of directly helping others. I only wished I went through the nursing route from the beginning instead of wasting so much time and $$$. However, life happens.... sigh... Now here I am at the age of 27 finally deciding what I want to do in life... but also like you, unsure... I wrote a post not too long ago asking these same questions - whether or not this path will be the best for me or if I am just wasting time and money...? Instead of sitting around and contemplating - I took the first step in January and enrolled into Chemistry to see if I would be able to juggle a class in the evening while working full-time during the day... It has been quite the journey for me this semester, but very do-able per se (I have no kids, btw). I too have a list of classes lined up and I pray everyday someone drops so that I can enroll into it LOL. If this is your calling, your true passion - it is not a mistake. The good thing about nursing is that you can work in a variety of fields. Anyway, you've already done your research, next step is to take your pre-reqs! A year from now, I hope to start applying for Fall 2018 or Spring 2019 programs - hopefully you can too :) Good luck!!
