  1. I did my A&P 1 and 2, microbiology, and chemistry courses with Portage learning online. My plan is to go to Rasmussen in April 2020. Does anyone know if Rasmussen gave them any problems with transferring their classes over? I would be going in with all my preps which will cut the ridiculous cost tremendously.
  2. I am going back to school for nursing at the age of 52. I just started an Anatomy at physiology course with Portage learning, the 1st module is pretty long. I'm a little nervous, anyone has any advice on how I should be studying for this course. Should I do the module then test or module lab then test? My pre-test sucked. I plan on using a lot of Quizlet and YouTube. So far the instructor is very boring, I need some form of examples to better understand and relate this couse work so that I can retain it while working full time and trying to live a normal life. Please advise
  3. I am 51 and about to go back to school for nursing. I have a degree in business that had been useless to me for the last 6 years. I do not want to go back to school but there is no real paying jobs in Chicago. I always wanted to be a nurse but was afraid and insecure about completing the program, All I ever heard was how difficult it was and I was afraid of failure. Now life has given me no other options. Any suggestions on how to work and get through this program?
  4. I am considering northwestern college for nursing as a second degree. I currently work in the health field now making less then nothing as a CNA. I got my BA in 2005 so i'm not sure if my courses like math and bio will have to be taken over:(. Anyone have a clue of Northwestern curriculum? 50K is a lot for a 2 yr degree:locktopic:. i'm not in my twenties or thirties for that matter so this is a MAJOR life change for me.
