I am interviewing at pitt county and was told also had to take the test could you give me some insights on what I need 2 know or what kind of scenearios they gave you tk youthis is crazy passing boards was enough pressure now more.

Does anyone know of travel co that will place RNs in the wilmington,NC area I signed up with on assisngment recruiter say she post me nothing yet, Every time I call her no answer it's amazing how she worried me to get me signed up, references and all the other info needed. I feel she left me hanging at this point.She did post me 4 new bern ,but it is such a distance away 2hr drive. I will go down to NC next wk on my own ,but I know the pay sucks so I wanted agency if anyone can help i would greatly appreciated it.

I need to know about Cape fear/new hanover i am moving fr MD I know pay rates r lower I am leaving almost 30/hr but want a change .Big ? does anyone also know of travel agency that place nurses to the above hosp. Also I was wondering about LTC or psy in the wilmington area where i will be staying just in case the hosp don't work. and I am coming with my 8 yrold hoping to find him a nice school to send him to ,do they go by you zone or what. The pay there dosent allow me to send him 2 private school please help anyone who could offer any insight tks

Hi everyone finally made my mind up to travel First I 've gotten so many hits from agencies don't know which one to take suggestions pleazzzze. I really want to go the carolinas (North that is in wilmington anyone fr there? and how bad will the pay be. I am currently in MD. I have 1 son 8yrs and worried if this will be selfish on my part to drag him of my dreams I know he will love it, but what about school.I have some family in wilimington though a lil help there not much.And I met a nice guy there on my last vacation, so that dept is good. iam just afraid what i will also face I ve read some of the horrible stories. I am RN unit manager on locked 30 bed dementia unit I have some med surg experience. My pay is pretty good but I just want a change I am 35 and feel when will I ever do this this has been my dream forever. I also need to save money I am here paying 1100 dollar rent and my other many expenses. I want to buy a house. Please help names of some good paying, dependable agencies.:welcome:

Yes you must do those things all ver , but it's ok I failed nclex 1st time round. Took it 4 granted and failed I got saunders, and took a kaplan course they both really work. A big plus on priorty questions thats where i did terrible at. i pass with flying colors . So beat yourself up, cry,self pity. Then get yourself together cheer up accept and move on take that energy of disapointment and apply it to your study, Constanly tell your self I went through nursing school I passed , I got this thing i know the info god help and guide me to apply it .

I think that is great I live in Maryland and work @ local hospital, and trying to get in the trauma unit. Atlanta isn't good, I was thinking of traveling there in summer, I here it;s fun and you can party. Baltimore has a bunch of crappy clubs dc clubbing is your best bet, but I heard storys of the men there G-- lol good luck.

Hi everyone haven;t been on lately trying to study for my second go round .I did suzanne program and I took kaplan reveiw.And guess what? I take exam tomrrow,Iam nervous,but confident.I feel better about the priorty questions. The first time I didn't tell anyone I was taking my test,and my freind told me share this info with a few people ,because the more prayers the better. So I ask all my freinds here at allnurse to add me in your prayers tonight.I thank you all in advance.I must not let my anxeity go wild this time. I ll keep you all posted.I got to do this thing this time I am the only one out of my class that failed.

Yes continue to study and do question. I don't feel as bad now considering I just failed my boards too. I scored a near passing on everything this is so discouraging but we have to keep hope. Have you taken a nclex reveiw course all of my classmates that passed took it and I got so cocky being an lpn that I didn't need it .And see what happen I just took test on 10/19 so I am taking kaplan starting nov 7th. You need to go over a lot of the nsg process, study guides and any lecture notes in detail make sure you understand the info like say it aloud explaining every peice because the exams are worded as critcal thinking they dont give it straight as lecture it will most likely be in scenerio form good luck you will be fine ,and if not score as high as you can so you dont sink to far to catch up. Also this first exam will give you a good idea how they test.

oh I wish i had read your message before i bombed my exam wed that is so true I should have took kaplan,but trying to be chaep and so now I have to repay for nclex, kaplan and the embarrssment that comes with all of this.
