I feel so upset with the people at my job right now. I helped a friend of mine get a job at the same hospital in which I work. She is struggling to go through her orientation. She has been having some personal problems with her husband at this time which made it so she needed to move into my house.One nurse figured out she is living with me and blasted that as loud as she could in the nurse's station in front of everybody. My friend felt so overwhelmed with all the questioning and the judgement of her that she is thinking about quiting after only two weeks on the job. I sat with her today and prayed to God so that whatever HE feels is right will happen. Any advise of how to handle the nosy co-workers

In the Charlotte they offered me either a one bedroom apt fully furnished (including linens, pots/pans,etc), $500 .00 moving pay, and the salary varies by facility. It did not sound too bad. All of the companies offered pretty much the same stuff.

I have been talking to seven different companies. All the offers are the same just about. The salary per hour is about the same as in GA they explained to me but the stiepend they offered was pretty good and so far the recruiter has been very supportive of me and answering my questions very promptly.

I am thinking about taking a travel assignment with access nurses to Charlotte NC. Any opinions/ advice?

I just applied for my nursing license from the state of GA to be endorsed by the state of North Carolina. I got slapped by my ex-boyfriend's sister and slapped her back one day in 2004. We both went to a holding cell in the county jail for 6 hours, paid our bail money and never heard from them again. It never went to court. I am afraid of not being able to get my license. Can anybody tell me of any situation of this type with a happy ending? Please tell me. The state of GA knows about it because I had to renew my license here and they forgave me. Do you guys think I'll have the same happen to me in North Carolina? This was just a county ordinance misdemeanor.
