The cumulative GPA will be reported in January so your fall grades do count. I believe that the 60 units can be in progress. So as long as you complete at least 60 units by the end of fall of when you're applying you should be good to go! Best of luck to you!

Wait to be accepted into the nursing program, you have to be accepted into CSULB first correct? Or is it possible to be accepted into the nursing program and wait listed to the university lol..

I actually got an email saying I was waitlisted. But what's weird is that I tried to check my admission status to CSULB and it still says im waitlisted... I dont know how to react haha

I'm confused... I got an email saying that I have been selected to enter semester/trimester BSN program at CSULB, but I was initially waitlisted. Does that I mean I got off the waitlisted and am accepted?!?

Hi guys! Congratulations to all those accepted into Grossmont's nursing program! I had about a maximum of 82 points and received my acceptance email at 3:52pm. Fortunately for you guys I will not be attending Grossmont's nursing program because I got accepted into SDSU's BSN program for the fall of 2018!!! :) So this opens a spot for another person. Hey guys! So fortunate I found this thread! I was also invited for the interview and got the email on March 13. I'm scheduled at 1:00pm Group A. How do you guys calculate your overall points because I can't seem to find the point scale? - 4.0 prereq science - 4.0 general prereq - 89.3% TEAS - 85.1% TEAS reading And is this a good amount of points?

Has anyone heard anything back yet? My friends got their acceptance letters to SDSU but they were not nursing majors! I am extremely nervous and hope we all get accepted!

I go to a local San Diego Community College as well. I believe many transfer students are from community colleges that go into SDSU nursing, so this factor will not affect our admissions.

Hi, My stats are: Cumulative GPA: 4.0 Prereq GPA: 4.0 TEAS: 89.3% No work experience. This brings me to 68 points, which is identical to yours because on the the SDSU point scale, 89.3 - 90.3% on the TEAS rewards you with 8 points. Hopefully we both get in!

Do you know the difference between the TEAS V and TEAS VI content wise? And can you also link the ATI TEAS study manual for the sixth edition as well? Also how do you like the study manual?

Olliebollie1024, ah thank you! I didn't apply to this cohort cause I still need to do prereqs, I was just wondering if I should go to Miramar/Mesa or just Grossmont to take prereqs. (Even though I live closer to Miramar). I might go to Grossmont. It doesn't matter which community college you take prereqs for entrance into Grossmont's ADN program right?

Hi mmwong, I am currently a high school senior and I am stuck in the same position as you! I don't know if I should attend UCI (for biology) and then switch my majors or just go to CC. I'm leaning towards CC because it's more cheaper and easier. I was just wondering how are you doing now and how life is at CC. Any tips by the way?
