FY 2024 Navy Nurse Corps
Are you from VA? because initially I reach out to a nice recruiter out of my home state but she forwarded me to the local one. Thanks for the response Any of you applied to multiple branches? because im on the initial process also with airforce, I really don't mind which branch I just want to get started. My question is it a bad idea to do that?

FY 2024 Navy Nurse Corps
Lets just my recruiter is not the most responsive, im just on the initial documents to be sent to her im just hoping she would be more responsive after this step. My questions is after I sent this documents and forms how long until I would expect MEPS. With the rank I ask her about it she just told me I will know after they process my credentials. But thanks for that info im 14 yrs nurse with MSN so hopefully I can get in as O3

By any chance do you have a MSN? I know thats a requirement criteria for Nurse III, when you received your final offer how much was the salary? I got offered also recently Nurse II step 6 had to decline it because it was a paycut for me and im planning to get my MSN so I can just re apply next year

Joining the US airforce as an RN with BSN, greencard holder
On all military branches plus USPHS reserve or active. They won't take your degrees from the Philippines. I inquired on all of them. Enlisted pay vs civilian pay is night and day. Your best bet is getting your MSN online and apply. Theres MSN degree you can finish in 6months to a 1year. Good luck!

Navy FY2020
I read military healthcare is under one roof now DHA, does it mean all hospitals on all branches are open for everybody now? thanks
-
FY 19 Navy Nursing
Its because the military healthcare is transitioning to be under 1 roof. Under the care of DHA. Theyre focusing uniformity on all braches and will focus on highly deployable jobs like icu peri op crna and ER. I read the other jobs will be given to GS jobs or contract

Under DHA, centralization of military healthcare
Found an article excerpt about my question regarding recruitment and division of DHA and the military branch "DHA will be responsible for budgetary matters, information technology, health care administration and management, administrative policy and procedure, and military medical infrastructure at all MTFs. The Services will be retain responsibility for operational mission support and recruiting, organizing, training and equipping medical airmen." I guess recruiting is still under the branches but administration and management will be under DHA. I wonder if promotion will be affected like slowed down or something.
