Chamberlain FNP 2015 (looking for previous & new students)
You will have to look for a site and preceptor on your own. Chamberlain will not help much in this area. Try to get this sorted before hand and make sure all paperwork is signed and submitted at the earliest.

Chamberlain FNP 2015 (looking for previous & new students)
Please with an admissions advisor ASAP. Make sure you have fulfilled all their requirements a few months before you plan on enrolling. If you do not hear back from them, make an effort on your own. Best of luck.

Scared Student
Yup I completely agree with you. Acbamy55 please see a career counselor ASAP! Getting replies over here will simply confuse you further. Seek help from a professional and not from randoms on the internet ;p

Try taking the course online. That would solve your attendance issue and you can enjoy a stress free week with your family.

lost in rn to bsn programs with prior ba
Perfect advice by Firemedicrr! You already have transferred your German RN License to a Texan RN License. Step one is clear. All you need to do now is apply to a school for their RN to BSN program. The academic advisor will let you know how many credit hours they will accept from your BA. Good Luck Frank

RN license on probation looking for online BSN
Curious to know which online schools have you applied to? If the school is fully accredited I say you should go down that route. Frank

Did anyone judge you for being a male nurse?
Yes people have judged me on many occasions. I've heard people say stuff like "why don't you get a man's job" and "what you failed at becoming a doctor" Its just part of life. Live and let live. I never let it get to me. I'm happy where I am and the choices i've made. Frank

Grand Canyon RN-BSN
Lanoneus my advice to you is not to take a break. I was also in the same predicament but decided to continue on with my BSN till I graduate. I am so glad I made that choice. The feeling of being a BSN is amazing. I know you really want to take that break, but believe me the rewards of this accomplishment is far better than any vacation :). I just got done with my BSN and i'm already thinking about pursuing my MSN. Frank

ADN Graduate : Feeling discouraged and overlooked for promotions in LTC
I completely agree with what Rose said above. Having just a few months of experience as an RN is close to nothing. It's not easy climbing the ladder so quick, but if you are still committed to it then your focus should be on your academics and getting at least a BSN. It will definitely open more doors for you.
