7/70 Scheduling-Anyone have experience?
We work 7 12 hour night shifts in a row, then we're off for a week. We work 36 hours one week and 48 hours the second week, so we get about 8 hours of overtime each 2 week pay period.

? regarding phenergan administration & being a concerned patient
Hospital policy where i work is to put 25mg promethazine in a 50cc bag of NS and give it piggyback. I either do that or inject the promethazine into a liter bag of NS or LR if it's gonna be a bolus.

Send your best success vibes my way!!
Good luck. No matter how you prepared, CALM DOWN!!! It will be ok. If it turns off at 75, I think you did well. If you see question 76, at least you know you haven't failed! Think about it that way and DO YOUR BEST!

I took my test on the 10th of Jan, and found out I passed right after 1 am on Friday the 13th. I took 89 questions that seemed an awful lot like the questions we got on tests in school. Now the real learning begins!

Have you ever had to use CPr on the job or anywhere else?
Slow your roll, please. We also need to realize that the air we all breathe is 21% oxygen. 17% oxygen respirations are better than no respirations at all. Just keepin' it real.....

Discharge orders you'd LIKE to write!!!
It's not really discharge insructions, but I got in trouble the other day for telling a drunk patient with no other problems to stop taking the O2 sat probe off of his finger because I was tired of charging them out and paying for them. What's up with that?
