NYP Hiring Process
I’m so happy the recruiter found something else for you! Hopefully you get it this time around. Recruiters I've encountered aren’t as helpful nor do they reply to emails. Would you mind sharing the email of the recruiter? You can pm me.

NYP Hiring Process
@alexis_brickcity thank you! Good luck to you as well! yes it’s a unionized hospital. I interviewed for one of their PICU units. My status is at “assessment/reference” also. Did you guys send “thank you” emails afterwards? Don’t know if that’s a thing anymore or if it helps your chances. I feel like most mangers know if they’re going to hire you or not after an interview.

NYP Hiring Process
I interviewed with HR last Monday. She scheduled an interview with the PCD then sent a link for references. HR sent the reference link before my interview with the PCD so I don’t really think it means much in my case. I think it’s a way to move things along quickly in case you’re hired. My interview with the PCD was this past Friday. After my interview with her ended, she asked 2 of her nurses to meet with me and they basically interviewed me also. It was a very chilled vibe. PCD said I’d hear back “sooner than later” so fingers crossed. My references are complete just waiting to hear back. I’m a bit nervous because my coworker interviewed for the very same position a few months ago and didn’t receive an offer. This was at the Columbia campus btw. @alexis_brickcity what unit or campus did you interview at? @kn0607 don’t lose hope. Their hiring process can be slowww!

Hunter or Pace for Psych NP 2020
@Apatel54 it would nice to creat a group for incoming class on whatapp or something. I started the FNP program at lehman a few semesters ago before they lost accreditation and one thing I’ve learned in graduate school is to have support from fellow classmates to make it though certain semesters!

Long Island University (LIU Brooklyn) - NP Program
Hi. I applied in February and thought everything was completed but they needed prove (syllabus) of nursing assessment and research. That’s what delayed it. Nevertheless, My application was completed some where March 4th-5th. Received my acceptance letter March 10th. No interview. Unfortunately, I didn’t end up going because I got accepted at Lehman, much cheaper. LIU is rolling admissions so once your application is complete, you hear back from them quick. Goodluck!

Lehman college FNP 2020
Hi! Thank you!! Like every program, there are pros sad cons. Lehman is no different. Professors are great. Program isn’t easy but it’s not extremely difficult. Find study partners and be open to share materials(even if it’s online, you can still connect with people). You all are in it to graduate so it’s not a competition! I dint know how it works with an online program but with us, the classes were picked for us by the department so we had no say in professors. With that being said, full time is 3 classes (12 credits) per semester plus a clinical. Again like professors, you have no say in clinical sites. You’re placed by the department. Maybe things have changed but I doubt it. Let me know if you have any questions. Goodluck!
