Just wondering if anyone has heard the term "pain cycle" and if so, what your understanding of it is? Im asking because I've heard that sometimes when something is surgically fixed, the patient may still experience pain, due to a pain cycle that had been established. Has anyone found that to be true?

Sorry I cant be of help with your original question but I think your referring to Radiologic TECHNOLOGIST. Not "technician". A radiology technician would be like a CNA.

Just wondering, has anyone wished they would of went with Respiratory Therapy instead of Nursing?

I was looking into the online Excelsior RN program. I know years ago, they accepted RT's (respiratory therapists) and LPN's. Now the website only states LPN's? Does anyone know for sure? I tried emailing emailing them but have not heard back. I may try calling next week if I dont find an answer before then.

I wonder if they still plan to have the emails out by 5pm today?

I think I remember them saying they will let you stay in your major for 2 years, but you might want to double check that.

Hi harlant, just wondering...do you have restrictions in that you cant pass narcs, no working midnights, etc. or is your only requirement the drug tests? Im curious, as I too made a stupid mistake when I was young and Im afraid its now going to effect my eligibility.

Just wondering, does anyone know what the IL board usually recommends for a DUI gotten 9 years before applying to be a nurse? I know it will be a long, drawn out process but I hope I would be able to get a license after that. Do you think they would start me off with a probationary license? (that is my fear)
