  1. Thank y'all for the info.. its a Saturday and i forgot to login.. just plain never thought of it until 6pm (i work the night shift) and i am freaking out.. my job is everything to me right now!!
  2. LCDC's do not keep records the same as a regular doctors office. I know this for sure because I cant get copies of my outpatient rehab because they no longer exist. Therefore there is NO PROOF THAT I EVER WENT! Meaning no one can find out that it ever even happened. Lucky for me I kept my own records but what I have is the only existing proof.
  3. Do NOT report that information. It is old news. I made the mistake of being too honest.. i know that sounds ridiculous.. but in the end i screwed myself. I've also been sober for many years (8) and am going through hell now all because I thought I was being honest. But if you no longer have a problem and dont feel like you need further help with addiction then keep it to yourself because they will make you participate in ALL KINDS OF PROGRAMS THAT YOU DONT NEED. I feel like a fool in these recovery groups because i know i dont belong there. I was a teenager when i got clean!!! Sometimes sharing too much information can be damaging. Only offer what you must.
  4. Yes.. I finally got my negative results :) Only took 8 days lol.. And yes I do have restrictions, but they are not forever. Narc stip will be gone by March.. I can work nights.. it seems that a lot of the issues you deal with in TPAPN are on a case by case basis. I got a job in LTC right off the bat. Hope this helps.
  5. I'm so glad to talk to someone else in this situation. I know many nurses from my area, but no one who has been on TPAPN. I feel like I'm walking in the dark. This program has many rules and no guidance for the newcomers. I suspect that the soap at my work has alcohol in it although I'm not positive.. I just stopped using it anyway just in case.. hopefully not too late. Even if it did I'm not sure how many days it would stay in your system. The enviromental alcohol exposure definately scares me the most.
  6. Thank you for your reply.. I read on the Quest website that if the results are negative you will know in 24 hrs and longer if it's positive. I was worried thinking I was going to have to start proving my innocence!! I don't think that is meant for TPAPN participants anyways though so I'm trying to stay positive. I used hand sanitizer once at the beginning of the week before I realized what I was doing and have been sick about it ever since! I'm too new to the program! Everything scares me! It's a lot to get used to.
  7. Hi all! I am a newly licensed nurse and am on a board order to complete TPAPN as part of an eligiblity issue. (I got into trouble when I was still a teenager, but was legally an adult.) 8 years later I'm still paying for that mistake. Yesterday I took my first drug test and wondered when will my results be posted? I was expecting them today but so far nothing is showing. I need reassurance! Even though I'm clean I still want the results! I hate that I just started the program and I'm already so nervous. I worked hard to get here and don't like feeling threatened!!!!
