i just got an email that i got accepted into CCC!

Hi guys, I had a quick question for everyone. If yall happen to get accepted, considering how expensive Linfeild is, what plans do you have to pay for your tuition?. Loans? Scholarships, if so, what organizations? Graduating with a $80,000+ loan sounds ridiculous.

Thanks Kwakle. I sorta lost hope after seeing that many people at the orientation. I worked super hard and had a 4.0 GPA and completed all my prerequisites before applying. I also have health care experience. Right now the waiting is killing me and I'll really be disappointed if I don't get in. I don't know what to do for a whole year again.

Hi all, I'm just checking in to see if anyone else has gotten the call from PCC after the orientation yesterday. As far as I understand it's a lottery system and no one has been assigned numbers.

Congratulations Kwakle, I assume you are accepting your spot in PCC. Was it the only school you applied?

Oh my bad. They are both CCC, it's easy to confuse both schools.

How did you find out your number on the list at CCC. I was at the orientation on Friday. I tried asking but she didn't tell me what # I was on. I know for sure I'm in the 1st 15 alternates. At the orientation only 5ppl didn't show up, made me kinda lose hope for getting in at CCC. I still have my fingers crossed for PCC thou.

Erizelk, it's killing me too. It's so bad that I have insomnia lately. But if it's any conciliation, there was a lot of ppl at the CCC orientation who got accepted into PCC too. They declined their seats. So that opens up for a lot of us Alternates. Please don't lose hope yet, think positive!

How many points did u apply with if you don't mind me asking?.

Hi erizelk, I'm an alternate too. I haven't heard of anyone on the alternate list being accepted yet. Hopefully we would know after the orientation. I still have my fingers crossed!

Hi everyone. What were your thoughts on the orientation at CCC today?

I applied to MHCC, Clackamas CC and PCC. I was not invited for an interview at MHCC. However, I had interviews at CCC and PCC. I was placed on Alternate lists for both programs and invited for orientation too. I still have hope. Waiting till next year to apply again would really be a disappointment. But if it happens, it's life.. If I would have to apply again, I would take CNA classes and work in retirement homes. I currently work as a caregiver but that doesn't earn me enough points in the application. I'll also try to get my associates for prior degree points. Sorry, if I'm rambling and not making much sense. My thoughts are all over the place today.

Oh there is still hope. The first mail I got from CCC, I wasn't invited to the orientation. But 2weeks after that 1st email, I got a follow up email that invited me to the orientation. Keep an eye out for that second email!

Hi Shicharro, the waiting list for CCC is moving. A couple of people got accepted yesterday. I still have my fingers crossed. Are you invited for the orientation next Friday?

Hi All, I am on the waitlist for both Portland CC and Clackamas CC 2015 fall program. I just wanted to know if anyone else is one the waitlist. And to those who were admitted into these programs, are you going to accept or decline your spots. I'm pretty nervous and want to know if there is some movement on the wait lists for either PCC or CCC. Thanks in advance for your responses.
