Just sit back and try to regroup. I have been in your same situation so I know how you feel. The last time I tested and passed I used UWorld and Mark Klimeck audio. When using UWorld I studied by systems that helped me a lot. I also used Lacharity.

Don't give up or get discouraged, I was out of school 7 years... Yes you read that right 7 years until I finally passed, keep pushing you can do this.

Yes I found a good one, because one hospital I called they were rude and very condescending, but I refused to let it stop me, people have all kind of reasons for not doing things right away so just apply to everything you never know! Again good luck

I did not take a refresher course, before applying for my job I called the nurse recruiter at the hospital I planned on working at. She was extremely nice... In a nutshell she basically said that she has come across people in my situation and that orientation would be long enough. I applied and got hired on a Med Surge floor. My orientation was good alot of things came back to me instantly and I asked alot of questions I was not just thrown out there. I had to learn better time management but everything worked out. Remember you just passed your NCLEX this year, so you are up to date with current standards. Hope this helps to encourage you!

Yes I got a job 3 weeks later I had no problems.

Pick yourself up and try again. I had been out of school 7 years and passed on my third attempt. You can do it, I used Uworld and Mark Klimek. I studied hardcore for 3 months before my scheduled exam and I passed with a little over a 100 questions (computer shut off around 120) So don't beat yourself up get study materials you are comfortable with and look at your Cpr and study those weak areas. Feel how your going to feel and regroup, you can do it.

Iam so glad that you gave words of encouragement and didn't come off as condensending. I was out of school for 7 years and only attempted Nclex 3 times. Thank God the third time was the charm, this isn't even my post but thanks.!

Your not terrible just maybe you have test anxiety...... Just calm down and refocus I understand I have been in your shoes. Again I say I wrote down questions with UWorld the first time and failed. Again how are you studying what is your study plan? Do you study at work on breaks, do you study for hours at a time in a quiet environment? Just asking cause I want to help.

I have a question? My program no longer exists but when I graduated it was accredited CCNE would that be an issue?

What I mean is I was a repeat test taker and the first time I used Uworld I feel like I didn't use it correctly for the way that I studied and learned, for example I did random questions because I said the Nclex will give questions in no particular order. Even reading the rationales and trying to understand I wasn't retaining anything. The second time I used Uworld I did the questions by systems. This helped me alot! I started retaining the information. Figure out a study plan and stick to it, I hope this helped!

I would say study by system. I was a repeat test taker and used Uworld more than once. I failed when I purchased the first time because for me I studied wrong. I did random questions and even though I was reading the rationales I wasn't retaining the information. When I used Uworld again and studied by Systems I retained the information better, I hope this helps!

How were you studying the material? I was a repeat test taker but I found that in my case I was studying wrong. I would do hundreds of random practice questions, because the Nclex is all over the place. When I started studying systems and doing Nclex related questions to what I had studied I started getting questions right. It didn't matter what book that is what helped me and when I retested this last time I was successful. I hope this helped.
