CONGRATS ! I brought all my scrubs and shoes to change into with me in my bag. The nurse manager will give you time to change and then you'll go on your time share. It's all very organized. Tips are as always be your self, show your enthusiasm and be prepared to ask questions :) good luck !

Well when I applied 3 days after I got an email asking me about my top choices for areas I'd like to work in. And less then a week after that I got an email inviting me to interview. I scheduled it 3 weeks from that day. Interviewed and got my offer letter by that Friday. It seems to be a quick process

So the beginning of April is next week.....has anyone heard anything ?!? Now I guess we can start hoping by may well hear something lol

Well my interview got changed to Nelson 7 and olser 5 now lol but Nelson 6 was a general medical floor, Nelson 7 is a cardiac tele floor, amd olser 5 is medical research. Are u interviewing too? Or do u know anything about the hospital?

Hey all! I didn't see any updated info on JHH , SO I thought it might be cool if I started this thread. I have recently been invited for an nurse clinician I interview on Nelson 6 in the next 2-3 weeks. I sent my dates in almost a week ago so idk if I should call to see if they received that information or just wait it out. It's my first real nurse interview and I'm from out of state so I'm anxious TO SAY THE LEAST lol any advice on interviewing ? Or info about this floor ? ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED

I can agree with that. I wonder how many nurse recruiters they have working on it ? If it's only one guy I feel bad for him lol

lol wow that was pretty descriptive ! and i have been looking at the weather and it has been down right beautiful this past week other then rain...so idk what to think lol but maybe its the nerves talking. At least we havent heard any nos yet right... BRIGHT SIDE:)

Well I broke down and called duke regional. The recruiter stated that they have already had their first rounds of interviews and once they get feedback from the nursing managers on wether they want to hire they will update all our statuses. So good or bad news coming soon

So congrats on everyone's job offers!!!! , I'm guessing you guys had your licenses already and are excited to get to work , super exciting ! Has anyone else heard anything or had any status changes ???? I guess I shouldn't be so anxious since I don't graduate until April but it's killing me lol

Yea fingers crossed for March then huh lol

So I know this probably won't make anyone feel better but looking back at all these statements for the application process and it seems like they take a long time so I'm just hoping I know by graduation lol

Lol when you say several inches I had to laugh ...I'm from michigan and we got 8-10 a week ago and I still had to go to work :/ but I feel bad for y'all since your not used to it most of the year. and yep, still under consideration goodness knows for how long if they can't make it into the office

Well I haven't heard anything like that but I'm from out a state so who knows what they do down there . I've heard a lot of their hospitals prefer their own students tho. But we all have put in a lot of work I'm sure they'll take notice too :)

So I just emailed the recruiter and they said their office has been closed due to bad weather so idk how long it's gonna be now lol how bad is weather down there lol???
