  1. That is a scary stuff
  2. Aww Good luck. I am starting my school this year. I have a toddler and a 9years old. Trust me, they are hard at any age.
  3. I am taking a full load this September for my first semester. Everyone is telling me not to take full load. I have two young kids. I work part time. I am taking my BSN as a challenge. WE CAN DO IT.
  4. It depends where you are coming from. I will be starting my school in fall, currently working at retail and earning minimum wage. I have two kids ,and i am living on all available funds. My point is if you can make a decent living of the paycheck you get then why not?? I will be happy to wipe butts as long as i am not worried about my bills and i have my own small house.
  5. Goodness.so they are already on wait list for fall? I am in registered nurse program. Hopefully you will get into the program because looks like you will be the earliest batch on wait list.
  6. Did u applied for the fall 2015 term? I was waitlisted for jan2015 term. I applied in feb 2014, did my prerequisites and sent everything in September 2014, but they told me i have a little chance to get into winter 2015 program. I applied again in October 2014 and got conditional offer for Sep 2015.
  7. I appreciate your response in every Canadian post.
  8. I like your posts. You are always positive and encouraging unlike many nurses here. Glad to see positive replies here.
  9. I seriously hated the punnet square. It use to give me headaches. R you in nursing school now or upgrading for nursing? I dont want any punnet square in nursing school

No it means there will be less full time positions and more casual. But dont worry you will still be in the system. I just checked convent health and alberta health n there are tons of jobs. Good luck
