Any Chamberlain(formally know as Deaconess)BSN students out there
I am switching over because I need more. The online portion is nuts. They give us like 5 chapters every other week and you have to read every chapter and then take a test over those chapters every other week. No lectures just chat room to discuss the chapters once a week and then we have skills lab 2 times a week. I personally think that it is way to much information for someone to learn on their own. It is very important and I am learning but like I said I need to be in a classroom so I can better understand everything. If anyone is reading this and you are thinking about going into the online program at chamberlain make sure this is what you want to do and it is definetly independent study. They say they will help you but good luck with that. Angie

Any Chamberlain(formally know as Deaconess)BSN students out there
I was accepted into the online ASN program at deaconess for the summer06 term but I switched over to the BSN program starting next semester. I am passing the online class but it is crazy. I was just wondering if there was any Chamberlain BSN students out there that can give me there thoughts about the BSN program before I actually start or if there is anyone who is starting this fall at Chamberlain maybe we could get to know each other and see if we are taking the same classes. Thanks Angie

Calling all DCN students accepted for Summer 06!!
I have been accepted to DCN for the Summer 06, but I am having second thoughts. I live in the St. Louis area and I know that you can go to labs on the weekends but it is the online part that makes me a little nervous considering how tough the material can be (so I have heard). I also have heard some people say that the hospitals around here in St. Louis will not hire DCN nurses due to the fact that it is an online program. If anyone can give me some info regarding this and maybe encourage me to go to DCN I would appreciate it. Angie

I am just going to apply somewhere else and be put on a waiting list and then if deaconess gets to keep the online program then maybe I will consider, I dont really know now. help with entrance exam
Hi Steph I am taking the NET test Saturday morning and I am a little nervous. Could you tell me if on the math part was there any word problems because those problems throw me off when they put them in a sentence. Also is the math just mainly fractions, decimals, ratio and percentages. Thank you Angie
