  1. Hello. I didn't find any thread for the MSN-FNP program. I was accepted and start Spring 2023 in January. I created a separate thread for this specifically but haven't received any comments from any other applicants so hopping on here to see if anyone will be doing the same program.
  2. I didn’t see a thread for this MSN-FNP Online Spring 2023 specifically. Anyone else apply for this program? I got my email that I was accepted into the program. Not sure what to expect from here or if anyone has already been through this program or still in it, what experience and tips they have as well.
  3. Following. Also interested in their MSN program. I recently completed their RN-BSN. Now want to do BSN-RN. Not sure how many more classes I would need to complete and how it is compared to the BSN program.
  4. Gotcha. Yea wouldn't know anything about it.
  5. @j.cbrl a lot of people received their offer letters and there are so many who havent received anything at all yet and no change to status on job page. Well for me anyways. Basically taking it as not selected unless there is a reason that we haven't been notified either way especially that we were told we would know by Thursday sept. 9th. But who knows.
  6. No acceptance or rejection yet here for east bay
  7. Did your status change online saying offer job or something like that or still review in progress?
  8. What hubs did everyone interview for that was sent an offer letter?
  9. Seriously. Ready for this to be over
  10. I know this has been asked before but now that almost everyone has finished interviewing, when you were in the interview did they see your face or did you see the person who was presenting during their presentation? I've seen some say they could see their face and others say they couldn't see anyones faces and just their powerpoint presentation.
  11. Walnut Creek, Antioch, oakland.......
  12. I am Wondering the same thing. I did the RN-BSN with WGU and wonder how the BSN-FNP coursework compares with the BSN program? Also wonder if you have to find your own preceptor.
  13. @topaz1100 you mentioned you were able to transfer your wgu credits and accepted to a few other FNP programs. do you mind sharing which programs accepted wgu transfer credits?
  14. @BarefootNurse3 I applied for endorsement to Oregon 6/13 along with sending request for california to send proof of NCLEX passing and RN license verification and still waiting. Was advised the whole process can take 2-4 months.
  15. @Banana nut How do you like Sky Lakes and what department did you get hired into? I have an interview coming up. Family lives in Oregon/Washington.
  16. @MojoJojo this is an email I received: The hiring manager will be reviewing resumes and calling individuals for interviews between 7/13/2020-8/17/2020. Please be patient this process is lengthy since they are reviewing over 500 applicant resumes. If you do not receive a call for interview by 8/17/2020, you most likely have not been selected. Anyone who is not selected and continues to meet the education requirements may apply to the next cohort.
  17. @MurseJojo yes im excited. Good luck!
  18. @MurseJojo I was just told today that livermore only has extended care services for their new grads (long-term, and hospice), and palo alto does the acute care, not sure what others in palo alto, and not sure about menlo park. I applied for acute care and surgical. Would have been open to others but only lets you select 2.
  19. Hello @MurseJojo, I only selected 1 location because I thought all of the locations held new grad programs for every department at each location, but I guess only certain locations only have certain departments available at their locations.
  20. Anyone apply to the VA RN NEW GRAD PROGRAM for PALO ALTO, LIVERMORE, or MENLO PARK and heard anything back yet? I just received an email that I was selected to move forward in the process and that my application has been sent to the hiring manager.
  21. when you say 6 12's, that is 6 days in a row working 12 hours shifts, not the usual 3 days on 12 hours shifts and then get 4 days off?
  22. Hello Meeshell, I recently had an interview with the hospital. Just a few questions for you: 1. What department or position were you hired into? 2. How do you like the hospital/department? 3. Are you from the area or relocated there? I am looking at safe neighborhoods for families 4. What was your starting pay? 5. How long after interviewing/background check did you start training there? Feel free to email me as well at [email protected] if you want to private message me this info I would greatly appreciate it.
