  1. Just turned 40 in this year, obtain my LPN license in November 2014 at the age of 39.. Finished my prerequisite this November and on my way to earn my ADN.. Spent the last 17yrs in banking and finance.. Ready for my new adventure and hard work.. Best of luck everyone on there 2nd careers.. :)
  2. Just turned 40 in june, finished my prerequisite in oct.. In the process of studying for my teas.. Just landed a job in a long-term care facility as a lpn and resigned from a 17 yr career in banking. Yes, it has been a long journey and has its challenges. I also see the light at the end of the tunnel.. :)

  5. I agree just relax don't stress.. Keep doing 200 questions from different sources everyday in one sitting and the day before exam don't study or do questions take it ease. Thats what i did a passed with the min of 75 questions.. have faith :)

  14. Hello seaviolet! I'm in the process of changing career's and just obtaining my LPN license this past November and I'm in the same boat as you.. I have a good job that I work 9-4 Monday Thur Friday and some Saturdays, great salary and benefits with 4 weeks vacation.. I think my only option is obtaining my rn online in till I can completely transition to my new career.. I'm so scared to leave my current employer until I have obtained my RN... ?

  16. No I was all over the place with my hesi meaning I was trying to study from so many resources but deep down inside I knew I was not going to pass n my fear took over and won and I failed.. For my nclex I did Kaplan questions, videos n Saunders nclex pn questions and most important I was confident and very calm.. But my classmates did nclex 3000 for the exit hesi and pass on the first attempt
  17. Yes I my exam was on 11/25, and just received my results this morning and I passed.. For me the hesi was harder than the nclex pn..

  21. Nclex 3000 helped my class pass
  22. I stressed so much for my exit hesi and I knew I was not going to pass and guess what I didn't pass on my first attempt.. My DON told me to relax and be positive for my nclex and I feel so calm and not stressed at all.. Hopefully I'll have good news in a few days..
