Hi everyone, I took the exam last month, just to give you guys an update I passed the exam at 75. It took me about 2 hours,before taking the exam I already conditioned myself that I should focus and concentrate for the first 75 questions, and lucky for me I guess it worked Lol, so a BIG THANK YOU all of you for sharing all these very helpful strategies. =))

wow!! Congratz maricar2013. I graduated 2009!! and taking the exam next week... I can feel how you have to struggle getting back all those we've forgotten nsg. stuffs.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH for this wonderful and surely very helpful advice. Today I am trying to practice myself to be ready to take as far as 265 questions to built some" stamina". I noticed myself that after reading a question some part of my brain can like automatically choose an answer, but as I stay too long in that question, I tend to change my first answer which the actual first answer was the correct one, maybe I was over analyzing it..

I wish you will PASS the exam.. Have a strong confidence and give your BEST! YOU can DO it!!!! I am taking the exam too next Month.. :)

Hi everyone, I just want to know how you guys take your time in answering question/s,(in reviewing) if you answer for instance 100 question in a day how long does it take for you to finish? For those of you who already took the exam how long did you finished the exam and at how many items did you ended? I think timing is really important, I answer 1 question too quickly in less than a minute and I observe I wasn't really analyzing the question I feel like I am always in a hurry I can easily get distracted and sometimes too anxious,now I am trying to do it more than a minute using a timer.lol. How about you guys?

Don't feel bad those are really hard questions. I already finished my NCSBN subscription and did all the question before my course expired last week, I am also in the process of reviewing like you, what I can give you advise is try to finish all the questions and qbank, then re-read them including the rationale to grasp a better view and understanding... :)

Hi Diana, I really feel the same the questions are all unique, But if you try to compare questions from Saunders Lippincott and Kaplan or Davis all of them really present it in different ways. I tried to read different questions from different sources (Mosbys, Prentice, NCLEX 4000 etc) although not everything in it I think they present it in simple way. Kaplan, Davis and NCSBN for me are the hardest ones they wanted you to analyze and it's like applying what you have learned.

I see, I am not sure if I will go for Hurst, I've been reviewing since June, when are you planning to take the exam? I believe NCSBN questions are challenging, I always seem to get low scores but as what many students would advice keep practicing. I also panic whenever I see SATA questions, but the key to that we must base it just like T\F,good luck Brenda :)

HI dbrenda1510 How do HURST present their review? I used NCSBN I am almost done reading the content, they have more than 1000 questions where you can practice. I think that would help you more particularly the q.bank, in the Hurst online review is Marlene the only one teaching?

Hi guys! I am taking the exam this September, whew! I can feel my anxiety whenever I study. I used NCSBN review I wonder if anyone of you try answering the q. bank, they would indicate if you are above or below passing rate, do you guys think its similar to the real exam?

hi, Im using ncsbn review and Saunders, I have pda and kaplan strategy book haven't started reading them yet since I have lots of other reading to do. TRy also audio reviews which you could just download for free in the net it will help you remember topics that you alraedy forgot.
