  1. I go there I'll be done in 5 months I like it my only complaint is not having lectures it's just read read read they do post videos to watch but I likelectutes and PowerPoints
  2. I had a tentative offer waited 3 months then they rescinded and didn't tell me why
  3. When I got to the point where I felt overwhelmed and was not retaining anything I just stopped studying and went to do something that I enjoyed...needless to say I found a lot of good happy hours lol
  4. I had been an LPN for 8 years before I took my RN and I studied for 4 weeks and I passed with 75 questions in 45 minutes I feel the LPN was more patient care and I feel RN was more delegation and quality improvement and staff and patient teaching. You can do it girl!!!
  5. I passed in 75 questions and used Saunders 5th edition and NCSBN NCLEX review and Lacharity
  6. Honestly you have week to go I do not think it would be worth it to buy it now. There are some free apps for your phone you can download like Kaplan RN mini Qbank, NCLEX RN mastery, ATI RN mentor, Lippincott RN Prep and Saunders had one too. I was tired of studying content so a week before my exam I just did questions from all these apps. I did not pay for any program and I passed with 75 questions in 45 minutes
  7. I studied for 3 weeks straight for 8-10 hours a day week before exam I took a lil road trip just to relax. I didn't really worry about studying I just did questions on my phone from free NCLEX apps like ATI, NCLEX mastery and Lippincott's.
  8. where do you live? I live in Nebraska and I was an LPN first and all the girls who had never had nursing experience got all the jobs I applied for in nebraska they dont like LPNs first they would rather have brand new no experience RN
  9. MLW84 replied to millita2488's topic in LPN to RN
Is there a LPN-BSN program you can do? I did all my prereqs in a year and a half then did a LPN-BSN program that only took 2 years. I also didnt do prereqs full time so I prob could have gotten them done sooner
  10. I dont know why we cant find out right away also because as soon as you are done the computer has already determined if you passed or failed and I also do not know why we have to wait 48 hours because they send the information to the board of nursing right away unless your results are on hold I took my test wednesday and even though my license number did not show up until friday on the bon website it said my license was issued thursday
  11. The drag and drop were my weakness I am very good at SATA and in my opinion that is probably why I only got 5 SATA and more drag and drops. Memorizing things wont help just make sure you practice practice questions.
  12. Your on the right track I used NCSBN review and passed with 75 questions in 45 minutes. I also used LaCharity PDA and I would strongly encourage you to get that book. I also used Mosby Comprehensive NCLEX review it had a lot of hard critical thinking questions on it. And like others have said the AN study guide helped me a lot. Good Luck
  13. Congrats!!! I passed with 75 questions also!!! GO US!!! I feel I overstudied big time I honestly do not think the NCLEX was that bad.
  14. I dont think getting a lot of SATA means you are doing good. I know people who got tons of SATA and failed. I on the other hand only got 5 and passed so I don't know why people think getting SATA means your doing well or means those are harder questions. I think the test sees your weakness and goes off of that which is probably why I only received 5 because I am good at SATA so therefore it didn't need to keep testing me on those. I do have a weakness of putting in order steps and that is probably why I got more of those than SATA.
  15. It was the RN no I did not have a book our school made us take the predictor test our last day of class
