Any news from the OR Or Day surgery? Anyone has got the call?

This waiting game is killing me! I applied for post surgical, completed the on-demand; haven't heard anything back. Anyone applied for post-surgical unit?

I did my interview on 6/6. The managers told me they have more interviews to complete. They'll come back to us in 3 weeks.

Anyone heard anything after completing the Montage on-demand interview?!

You are not alone in this. Applied for the OR and did the first interview. I heard absolutely nothing since then!

Does anyone know if USC requires ACLS at the time application or it's required upon hiring ? I noticed that ACLS is on the list of their requirements to be qualified for the program!

Thanks Camilles93! That was new to me. I started thinking that they may actually don't care much about resume or the other attachments at this stage! I'll attach them to my profile anyway.

Thank you for starting this group. I was applying to the post-op yesterday. I couldn't attach my resume to the actual position that i'm applying for. I only was able to attach the resume to my profile. Are these both same?

I talked to the recruiter on Wednesday. She said if you haven't received your rejection letter after the speed interview, you are practically still in the game. They haven't made their final decision yet.

I received a call on April 5th for the first interview for the OR. Since I am out of state they set a phone interview. It's so scary! Anyone got an in-person interview?

Are you supposed to make a payment for the background check at the time placing your order? In the last step, I got a confirmation and an email too, but it didn't give me an option to make a payment! I m not sure if my order has gone through properly as their FAQ section talks about making a payment at the end!

Alewis513, I live on the other side of the town ( close to PCC,RC) that's why I didn't apply to CCC and applied to pcc & ohsu. I m in a similar situation.With family & kids, I need to choose the more practical and convenient program. I m going to decline ohsu, mostly because of the reasons you mentioned including cost & parking.

Just got an email from pcc. Got accepted!! I think I am happy with my decision. At least for me , pcc for the first two year would be better fit. I m going to decline Ohsu and accept pcc.

Got the ohsu packet on Saturday.waiting for pcc result.

Anybody got the packet yet? How much time do we have to accept the offer after getting it?

I think you are right missjordie, there is no one perfect program for everybody as people and their circumstances are different. hearing people's experiences and looking at the data such as NCLEX pass rates help a lot in making your decision and give you an idea what to expect once you'd start a program. At the end of the day, it boils down to educational goals and personal circumstances. pcc is releasing their acceptance on Monday, right?

Leteresa93-I'll probably decline Ohsu,Pdx, if I get into pcc, I guess pcc is going to release their acceptance next week on Monday. Also Alewis513 mentioned she has heard some disorganized comments about pcc, So I m curious what she has heard. How many people are on the alternate list? Does each campus have its own alternate list?

Alewis513- what were those comments that you heard about pcc, if you don't mind sharing? So, OHSU has increased the cohort size to 40,interesting!

I am new to this forum, I was searching and found this forum. it is great to see what other people think. Congrats to all who got accepted. I got my ohsu acceptance email yesterday. Now I m waiting for pcc next week. If I get accepted to pcc ,so far I have decided to choose pcc, and then a cc transition to ohsu after 2 years. But since getting ohsu email yesterday, I wonder if It would be a good decision. Weighing all the factors for someone in my situation, it makes sense for me to pick PCC. I guess I have to wait until next week. Thank you everybody for sharing.
