  2. Congrats! May I get the med summary as well? my email is [email protected]. Thank you!
  3. I think it's in August sometime. Congrats to you guys as well!
  4. That's great! I just met a girl who is about to graduate from there so I am going to be asking her some questions too.
  5. Just do Your work and study you butt off. Yes I went there and those that didn't stay on top of their studying couldn't make it. I'm about to graduate from RN school and because I studied so hard in my prereq's I have done very well. If people can't make it through anatomy and physiology then they aren't going to make it through nursing school. BTW Phys is way harder than anatomy.
  6. I'm starting the BSN this Fall.
  7. I also spent 2 months preparing, it is not meant to be easy. I bought 4 different books with ATI being the main one. Relearn your basic chemistry and all about Absolute Value as well. Khan Academy has some great videos for photosynthesis and so many other topics. Take it very very seriously. I also took both diagnostic tests online and it was so worth it. You know where your at after you take them and study your weak areas. I did amazing on my TEAS the 1st time by doing all of that. Good Luck!
  8. I do understand where your coming from. However, as I'm sure you know, whether its nursing school or a workplace there's always going to be one or a few people that are going to be a challenge. Nursing school should be a place where support is shown to each other but unfortunately there are those that are immature and all about making themselves look good. I think it's kind of funny because it's so transparent and obvious, even though they don't think it is. Those are the people who are going to have a difficult time in the "real world"
  9. your questions are great, that's good you have a lot of questions, it keeps patients safe! That's how we learn :)
  10. look up dimensional analysis, (cross-multiplying), I can throw that on a piece of paper during clinicals and it's so reliable and quick to decipher ml per hr or gtts per min. I LOVE IT! Also, I always check my maintenance fluids on each pt and check it in reference to their diagnosis to make sure their fluid rates are appropriate.
  11. that was helpful, thank you for posting this question!
  12. That is great, thank you!
