What unit did you all apply to? Any word on the ER?

Just thought I would start a thread for those of us who applied to VA's new grad program that closed 8/6. We can keep each other updated. Good luck!

My friend got an email that he did not move forward in the interview process, however that was after he sent an email asking his status. I have sent an email asking as well, with no reply as of yet. ---------------- is out of the office until tomorrow though, so maybe then. I just want to know for sure that it's a no go.

So my friend got a call yesterday for a second interview in Maternity on Monday. She was told they weren't even hiring in maternity either. She was called by Lourdes F. , the maternity manager who was part of the panel. Anyone else called yesterday, or who has heard anything else?

I'm still hoping, really really really hoping!

People are being called in the evening so make sure you have your phones with you. Hoping for that call still!

Did anybody interview for labor and delivery? Never heard anything back so just curious what units ended up interviewing people. Congrats to all those that interviewed and good luck on the rest of the process!

Today. My fiend also received a call for an interview today. I think they are wrapping it up.

Got the rejection email today

Emailed them and they said the 27th now they were trying to be done by, for making calls. Who knows if they just say that though.

My friend inquired and got an email back saying that the nurse educator is still evaluating applications and expects to be done June 20th as she is behind and there were many applicants. They told her that her application was still in review. She received the email back this morning. I have only heard of 3 ppl getting a call so far.

It's not unit specific. They will tell you the available units in the half hour before your interview. He is interested in OR which they confirmed they do not have, but told him to interview for the other units. I have not heard of anyone else getting a call yet. I Did see on FB that someone got a no thank you email and I am not sure if that was because of the personality test or not, but assumed that because it was last week that it was not. Going crazy waiting!!!

My friend got a call for a panel interview yesterday. It is July 15th. I have heard nothing though and his status online still says application in review.

are you talking about OR or the RN one?

I still have not had a status change since 3/26. I applied to L&D, NICU and PICU. I heard that you are still in if you have not had a status change, but this does not seem likely. Hopeful anyways!

Does anyone know when we will start hearing from them?
