  1. At the online level, we discontinued that program. It was a joint venture with another University. We had positive feedback for our portion, but not so good feedback from the portion of the program. I don't believe it's available at the ground campus' either. You would have to call your local ground campus to find out. Jim UOP
  2. It's great to hear so many positive things about UOP. I have been visiting hospitals and Med centers and speaking with the staff about finishing their degrees. I like hearing the stories. It helps me understand all of the different obstacles that current students encounter. It's great to know that you CAN overcome the difficulties with schedules, finance, etc... I would be interested in seeing the info that forwarded regarding the course catalog and the pricing. I don't have that e-mail. That could be beneficial for me. Please post the link or send it to me directly! Thanks, Jim Visnaw Helping Professions Liaison
  3. Did you start your UOP classes? If so, how's it going?
  4. UOP-Online offers an RN-BSN program. We also have an MSN program. We do not offer a straight RN to MSN program. If you have a Bachelor's Degree in something other than Nursing, you can take a 3 class bridge to the MSN. I hope this helps.
  5. You're Welcome.
  6. University of Phoenix is 100% online. Roughly a year and a half to complete. Fully Accredited. I may be wrong, but I had heard that Walden was not accredited. Again, I may be wrong.
  7. This is for UOP-Online. These are just the RN to BSN courses. http://www.uopx.com/download/information/2003-BSN_Dec.pdf
  8. goingCOASTAL, You have valid concerns. When you receive your degree from UOP, it does not distinguish between campus or online. It is just a degree from University of Phoenix. We are regionally accredited, and also approved by the NLN. As far as MSN degrees, you can do a variety of MSNs with focuses in Education, Integrative Health Care, an MSN/MBA/HCM dual degree, or a focus on Health Care Mgt alone. Jim
  9. before you start at a campus, contact me. there are so many more advantages to online. maybe a discussion of online vs. campus is necessary as a thread? jim
  10. I think I answered my own question, Family Nurse Practitioner? No we don't.
  11. You'll have to excuse me, FNP?
  12. With UOP, as long as you have had your RN for one year and have 2 years of healthcare work experience, you can take the rest online. Jim
  13. What is the cost at excelsior? How does the Excelsior program work?
  14. The only option you really have is Stafford Loans, Grants (Bachelor students only), and out-of-pocket cash.
  15. I can tell you all you need to know about UOP
