The updated forms are on the web site now. You have to have 500 hours or four months experience preceding your application date to apply for endorsement. And for the ORI and OAC numbers click on the board web site under registering for criminal background checks and the numbers are there. I hope this help.

I call the first thing this morning, and was told that the only review that was done was on my work history, that they couldn't found the other pages. I started to cried. I had everything even with my fee ( which was posted) sent BY FED-EX. Then was told to give it to the end of the week. Around noon they email saying my appication was outdated and they needed a new one. I call and was told that I had a old version that the application was updated in march 2009. I had download the one from there web site!!!!!!!!!! I SENT MY APLLICATION IN JUNE!!!!!!!!I GIVE UP!!!!!!!!

I am sorry to hear that. I call friday and was told 25 to 30 business days.

Has anyone heard anything yet? My application was put in the system July 14. And my 25 days was up on monday. I was told today that the board will call me. I waited all day an I call them back, just to be told that it take someone from the board 24 to 48 hours to return calls. I have never waited this long from any state.I had to leave my husband to go work agency and the work is really slow. Everything is behind. I have cried, pleaded , and etc for more information about my application.

I plan on going part time the first semester. I will still lack chemistry and sociology. And Dr. Waits said I needed another fine art electives. I only had music. It is so confusing because on the web site it stated one fine art electives was needed. This spring I will be taking at less chemistry, art , and one nursing class. Keep in touch.

I was a LPN before I became a RN. I work at several hospital and was expected to start IV, but couldn't push medication or hang certain solutions like heparin and KCL.We could only hand antibotics and saline soultions.

I plan on starting the RN to BSN in January also. I wanted to finish some of my pre- reqs.You may apply for the program still needing three of the academics left. They do admit in thier program (RN to BSN )January, May and August.

I want to know has anyone ever work for Carraway Hospital? It is very close to my house, and I am looking for a change. I have been working at the same hospital as a RN for 2 years and its seem like I can't move any farther. :caduceus:

I know how you feel. I thought that I had type this thread. I have been a LPN (graduated May '03)for two years and graduated last May'05. At first, I like being a nurse in the hospital,but I was tired of feeling like I wasnt making a difference,stress out, and no respect. And then I went flexi because of school demands,and I began to enjoy being a nurse again. I had finish RN school and went back full time and started to feel awful, nothing change just my title. I end up having surgery a tumor removed off my ovaries. And become very anemic also (couldnt get much time off had to return quick,nurse manager calling all the time when am I going to return).I worked a couple more months and having panic attack , began coming to work late, abdomen pain, and taking it out on my poor husband. I just hated it. I last only 6 months as a RN in that Hospital and went to work at the jail now. And I love, but I am always looking for something better. Try something different until you finally find a area in nursing you like, and take it one step at a time you only have one life to live.

Well I know what a passing rate is . I attend a school before wallace state and it was awful ( Treachers having to teach subjects the had no clue about, clinical was very far way, and you wouldnt believe one teacher had a nervous break down in front of class. There passing rate was in the 90's. I transfers to Wallace state and yes my graduation class was big ( very small classes and a flexiable schedule) we manage just fine and the teachers knew every last one of us!!!!!! MY POINT IS DONT JUST LOOK AT A PASSING RATE OR HOW EASY TO GET IN ABOUT WALLACE STATE.

I just graduate for wallace in Hanceville class of 2005. I love it and its not a hick town ,Cullman is 5 mins away with everything to offer . I live in birmingham drove up there. As for the passing rate ,we had a class of 240 while other schools has a class of 30 to 60 to graduate and the math is alot easier to look at that way ! As for getting into the program well all the community college has the same entrance test and GPA requirements. Hope this helps!!!!!!!

I took mines in alabama too. you get the big envelope first. If you pass it will have your certificate and it will have information about ceu's and they mail you a plastic card in 14 days . I dont know how it looks when you fail because I Pass lpn and now RN, GOOD LUCK

I took 265 question today on the nclex rn today in Alabama. I had 265 question. I study kaplan .I did there live review, I had saunders, lippincotts, fry's , flash cards , and more. I study so hard and still got 265. Everyone of my clasasmates I have talk to so far had 75- 105 and pass. I am so confused I dont know to cry or what. I have been a LPN for 2 years and some of the those drugs I have never heard and can't even find in my books. I had 2 check all the above, one math problem, who would I see first, and what nurse would I assign to who. I am so scared I love what I do. I always though that nursing is what I am suppose to do because I am good at it. Well, I have to wait for the results now 2-4 weeks. I dont feel good about it. I have been praying so hard for this.

I took mY NCLEX-RN today in alabama . I wish I had 75 I had 265 question and I dont know what to do cry or what. I took kaplans live review and I couldnt even use it. I had saunder , lippincotts, frye's bullets. I felt more confident when I took LPN NCLEX.

Now all you need to do is have faith and you will do fine . I will take mines nclex-rn Monday

Hello, I will take nclex-rn July 18, 2005. I took kaplan live and now doing online review . I have saunders,lippincott's,NSNA,FRYE'S 3000 BULLETS, MEMORY BOOKS and more. I really couldn't afford kaplans, but I took it any way. I wanted to know from the new nurses did kaplans help any on nclex? I am going to take learningext when I get the money. I don't feel as confident as I did when I took lpn nclex.
