  1. I got into Warwick days for fall semester with 179 so be optimistic :) The one that seemed the hardest to get into last application period was lincoln nights, the lowest score was either 183 or 185. For the others I want to say lowest was 173. Good Luck
  2. I had professor Royal, I liked him... many do not...no quizzes just exams and your lab practical...he's very nice and funny if you can appreciate his humor...if you can self motivate and study well you will get an A...I am neither and find anatomy a drag so I didn't get an A...now physiology I'll prob get the A bc I like concepts. I took anatomy with comp 1010 and general psych...good luck
  3. I was driving had to pull over... accepted Warwick days!!!! woohoo :)
  4. maybe it's a computer glitch because of turning the clocks ahead last Sunday....so 4:30 is "actually" 3:30...yes I'm grasping straws...lol
  5. I am almost afraid to read the email when it is sent...could potentially ruin St.Patrick's Day...ugh
  6. I applied on Feb first as well with 179.8 points... took all pre-reqs and hesi last semester and I'm grateful that is over...omg...first choices are day programs Warwick then Prov. followed by Lincoln and Newport. I talked to the secretary of the Nursing Dept. she said entire program is revamped, different classes and as far as I understood dosage and health 1000 are not needed at all because it will be mixed into the program itself, but I could have misinterpreted. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE :)
  7. I had my score by the time I walked to my car
  8. @katyq82 congrats!!!! that's a phenomenal # of points [emoji4]
  9. I'm applying as well. My schedule is flexible so I'm apply to all. First choice is Lincoln days. I have 179.8 points. Very nervous bc of the new requirements. Fingers crossed. Wishing all good luck.
  10. I don't have a specific campus or program can do days or evenings, applying with 179.8 points. Got a B- in anatomy and bc I attempted and withdrew 13 years ago this counted as my second and final attempt. So I can't even take again for a chance at a higher grade for more points. Fingers crossed and hoping for the best. [emoji52]
  11. Hi all..Now that the semester is over I'm really nervous about what the point ranges are going to be.
  12. @ Idgadson I wonder if we are in the same class...lol
  13. I took my HESI last week, scored a 95 over all which gave me 38 points. I have Royal for anatomy and b+ as of midterm in my other classes.
  14. I took my LPN NCLEX in April but none of my classes carry over bc I went to a technical school this anatomy vs. the one I had is crazy..fingers crossed...but even if I pass with a B- i dont know if the points are gonna be enough...this point stuff is stressful and I think there will be a lot of competition too...
  15. Hi, I'm hoping to be able to apply in February for fall 2016. I'm taking the 3 prerequisites now and took my hesi last week, I got 38 out of 40 pts. but I'm not as optimistic about anatomy....grrrr... comp and psych I'm not to worried about. What is the actual numerical grade for a b-? by the way the hesi wasn't that horrible :)
  16. the biggest thing is to really learn how to use the program...dive in and investigate all of it... I didn't really study for ati I studied for my classes and learned the concepts..after the tests I would go back retake with the rationale...write down the question I got wrong with the correct answer and the rational..and sometimes the rational to the wrong answers to make it click..some classmate were just into memorizing questions and answers, but that's not going to help with concepts... if you have access to virtual ATI... do it!!!! greenlight and take your boards ASAP... not everyone learns the same, but worked for me..& predictor was right took my NCLEX and passed 😊
  17. more than 85 ( lpn is min 85) less than 90... I wasn't expecting to shut off I didn't see the number..lol.. but wasn't a 5 or zero...
  18. I LOVE ATI...exit exam for school last Monday was ATI predictor, I did the ATI virtual pn finished that Tuesday, gree lighted and took my NCLEX yesterday. Test shut off under 90 questions. So all of that in 1 week... full time program, I worked full time and will be 41 this month...use everything ATI has to offer, learn how to use the program. That was the only thing I used to prepare and I found ATI questions slightly more difficult than NCLEX. But I have also found that everyone learns differently. My proctored tests were all level 2 except medsurg and pharm I was level 3. If you are testing that high you will do fine on the NCLEX :)
  19. I got an 80.7% on my first predictor last Monday, that put me at a NCLEX first time pass at 95%. On my virtual ATI I got a 84% that put me at a 99% first time pass, I took that last Tuesday. I took my NCLEX yesterday, shut off under 90 questions. LOVE ATI, and I found the NCLEX questions a little easier than ATI.
  20. will your classes transfer for an RN program? I just finished my lpn program last Tuesday took my NCLEX yesterday, but none of my classes transfer so I have to take them all. however when I start the RN program I can challenge nursing 1 & 2 bc I'm a LPN & I will be working as a nurse which is only going to help when going for RN. Very competitive here in RI to get in a RN program especially at the community college it's based on a point grading system so many people wait a really long time...so instead of just waiting I can gain experience and wait... but my lpn program was 13 months and $24,000... 13 months was way to quick...but like everything else pros and cons..but now that's it's over and I passed I am glad I chose the route I did...
  21. so I finished my pn program on Tuesday 3-31-15, took my ATI exit exam 3-30 and got a 80.7% which gave me a 95% first time pass prediction for nclex. Also participated in their virtual pn program. I got through that in 2 weeks to my NCLEX predictor for that on Tuesday and received a 84% that put me at a 99% first time pass. I received my greenlight and my voucher to test on Friday 4-3-15, scheduled my NCLEX for Saturday 4-6... I didn't look at the number of the question but shut off under 90. Did the Pearson Vue cheat check lol, and got the alert that I couldn't rebook so i unofficially officially passed...so ATI works wonders if you use everything they have to offer... YAY!!!!!! 😊
