  1. Once you saw your name on the web as eligible to take the test, you don't need to wait for their letter, you can now proceed to register at pearson vue.
  2. If the baby is born prior packet3 and you have included his name on DS230 forms, then you will be able to take him with you to the US.
  3. Suzanne4 is right. DS230 forms are not currently being process, it will return back to you or to your choice of agent once you have submitted it to them because of the retrogression.
  4. You must put all your family members(spouse and children 21 below) in item no. 21a, because the visa expiration once it is issued is 6months below therefore your spouse and children can follow you within 6months period. They are also with you during your interview with the consul. But if you choose to answer item no. 21b, your family will surely follow you after 2 years or more. My reply is according to what I have known, Suzanne4 and Lawrence, may comment on this as they are more experienced than I am.
  5. Hi Chigap!!! I am thinking of working in NZ while waiting for my immigrant petition in the US, most of my friends in the US told me that the working condition in NZ is far better than in the US. Do you have any ideas about Atlanta Solutions Agency which is based in Auckland and Wellington? I saw on the internet that they deploy nurses from the Philippines, but when I emailed them 3 days ago, they are not responding. Can anyone in this forum comment on what I have written?
  6. Hi Rep! Could you share us how your sister left her ist agency? What are the ways did she do? You can PM me if you want. Thanks.:monkeydance:
  7. I guess it's "d" !!! Anyway it's just a prediction:specs:
  8. Thanks Suzanne for the prompt reply, may I know what is a lame duck session? I heard it says that there's a a chance for the congress to enact the SKIL Bill during the lame duck session.
  9. December 2006 Visa Bulletin is out!!! Schedule A unavailabe. Are the congress starting to discuss this problem now that the election is over? Any news if there's already a discussion among the congress meeting?
  10. If the letter you received is asking you to submit you NBI,birth and marriage cert., passport copies etc. then that's packet 3
  11. Thanks for the reply, are you saying that this must be agreed again by the senate and the congress? Or is it waiting for the signing of the US President? Sorry I'm just a bit confused
  12. Is there anyone here knew about the Approved Immigration Bill w/c removes visa cap on foreign nurses, this was approved by the senate last May 2006, Is there any update if this needs to sign by the Pres. Bush or was it already signed into law?
  13. the only thing I remembered is that my address in DS230 is different from my address filed at the INS office, but it's still in the same town, I used my mom's address when I filled out the INS application because I want my letter to receive on time since it is in the subdivision. That's all I could remember. I am still waiting for the reply of the NVC. Some says I have a common name which the embassy feared of having a connection with any terrorism, but still I am waiting for what the man says that they'll just inform me for another interview appointment.
  14. They got my appointment letter, but I do have a copy of this. My agency is trying to figure out the cause of this.
  15. I've never met that staff before, after I gave my appointment letter to the receptionist she told me to wait and my name will be called to counter X or Y, there's no incident that I treated them badly. I talked to one of the agencies here and it also happened to one of their nurses last monday interview, same situation, they said that there's a mistake on INS part to insert or include any document, and the embassy don't want to admit such mistakes because INS is a big known US agency. Is this probably true? Please delete some messages in ur PM mailbox, i can't get in, ty.
  16. Hello Dale, Suzanne! My interview at the Manila US Embassy was cancelled by a filipino staff of the embassy, he said that my papers is for "recall to INS where it was filed" I was not given a chance to show my documents eg. visascreen, offer of employment etc, I was not also interviewed by the consul, they just took my letter of appointment and advised me that they will just inform me of another appoinment date. Do you know what's wrong with my papers, NVC said that I am documentarily qualified, do you know any possible reasons for this, I am so frustrated.
  17. Hi bodgie! What if one has a less than a year work experience, will they still grant you a visa even if you hold a USRN license and CGFNS cert?
  18. Hi ! you need to submit your payment for the visa fee bill before they will send the packet 3. Ask your agency who will pay for your visa bill. In my case, they paid mine while I pay for my dependents which costs $335 each. Hope this helps.
  19. Hi Dhel! I just received the email reply of the NVC this morning and they said I am scheduled for interview on August 18, 2005 at 6:30am, They just sent out a letter to my employer last July 19, 2005. I am just waiting for the reply of my employer about it. Thank you very much Dhel for helping me alleviate my worries. To Dale, thank you very much also for your good intuition. All of this wouldn't be possible withou God's help and mercy. Thank you Lord and thank you for this wonderful forum. To all nurses waiting for their interviews just keep on praying and relax. I will be back to share with you my experience in my interview.
  20. I will just wait for the NVC reply if I am also included for August interview.
  21. Dhel, Please keep us posted about the other nurses scheduled for interview this August; PD, letter of appointment, medical etc.
  22. I think Dale is correct, how could an interview comes first before the medical exam? May I know where did you learn all about this? Kindly give us your source so that we could also check it out. How could one go to the Embassy without an appointment letter and will just tell the security guard that the NVC called him for an interview? I think that's not possible, anyway I respect your side but please tell us your sources? And to you Dale, why did you say that more delays will be expected?
  23. Hi dhel28! Where did you learn that there are many I-485 cases being processed? Are you saying that they are given priority for August 2005 interview? Until now, I haven't heard from other agencies if they receive an appointment letter for their applicants. Is it possible to receive an appointment letter just a week before your scheduled medical exam?
  24. Hi Denzel! Did they ask you about your nursing experience in the Philippines? Are they requiring a work experience before they'll grant you a visa? I heard it said that most consul would check your working experience and most of them would require you to work first if they found you had not had any experience, is this true? Oh by the way, most agencies I've known has not received an appointment letter for August 2005, maybe there's a delay in sending a letter.(IPAMS, Good Day, Juno and Sentosa)
  25. Hi Dhel28! I have a friend who'll be interviewed on July 28, 2005, I asked her when did she received her appointment letter and she said, she received it first week of June 2005. If we are expecting an interview this August 2005 how come we still have not receive anything from the NVC, the first week of July is about to end? We should be receiving a letter by now or I guess maybe it's not yet my time. I called the NVC tonight, fortunately I've talked to somebody. The NVC can not assure me if I will be interviewed this year. She only said that I am documentarily qualified and told me to wait for a letter. I felt disappointed with her reply. Do you think they are just trying to be careful with their answers? or they just really know what will happen to the applicant's case? To all the people in this forum I need your feedback, please help... My PD is August2004.
